I guess the bag of gold coins is buried under so many feet of dirt where the bottom of the well used to be. Even if she finally remembered him giving them to her, they're beyond her reach now. If I caught the drift correctly, it seems her mother and brother resent the addition of Rin to their family. You weren't really clear on how long it's been, other than it's been more than two years. How old is Rin now?
I hope Sesshoumaru's people soon find them. I'd hate for a whole lot of years to pass before they meet again.

WOW!! I'm def intrigued! I almost cried as you described the hardship that sess, rin, and kags had to go through. I t was nice to hear your descriptions but i'd like to see the interactions between rin and kagome soon! Keep up the good work!

Poor Sesshomaru, looking for Rin from Tokyo when they're in a completely different continent! I hope he finds them soon-ish, Rin needs her Lord and who knows how long Kagome's health lasts with continuous working and minimal rest... Please, do update soon! I want to know how this continues.

This sounds very promising. I don't know how you do it but all your fics seem to just grab me from the start and this one, this one was no different. You had me in tears. I can imagine how heartbreaking that was for him. Having to wait all those centuries not knowing if he'd find the right time and place so he could reunite with his little girl.
He might have seemed cold and indifferent to Kagome, but just him asking to take her to Kagome's time spoke volumes of the love Sesshoumaru had for Rin. For a being who is known to have no emotion, this act proved just the opposite and I cannot wait to see how this unfolds. JEN

Ooo, let's hope he finds them both soon-ish! I wonder what really happened to the shrine? I suspect foul play to be involved... How much has Rin changed, for the better or for the good? How's Kagome? How are they living? How did Kagome decide to use the coins Sesshomaru gave her for taking care of Rin? Mou! So many questions!

ohh, Kagome's destitute? How sad. BTW the single syllable 'kyo' is not a very helpful clue at all...Inuyasha could very well been saying simply the word 'kyo' ('today') - Sess had no way of knowing for sure that kyo was part of another word...
Oh wow! It looks like you're starting another good story. You had me in tears at Sesshoumaru giving Rin to Kagome. Can't wait for him to find them. I wonder why they lost the shrine? He gave them gold coins which in the modern day should have brought them a small fortune. Also, how long has it been, Rin's age now, and what her wish was. So many questions. If youkai really had not existed in her time, I wonder if the wish had something to do with bringing them back. I'm sure you will enlighten us as you entertain us.
