I really like how Sesshoumaru has to really restrain himself! I wonder when Rin will find out he is Sesshoumaru, will it be after the trial or will she find out on accident? Can't wait to find out~

WOW!  It's about time Kagome opens her eyes to the facts around her.  Gary was a prick but Sesshoumaru...Well, Sesshoumaru would just be reclaiming his daughter and getting a wife as a bonus.  Come on, Kagome!  Don't let that freak mess up a good thing with the right man.  You know what they say, (just paraphrasing) "If you love someone, let them go; if it was meant to be, they'll come back to you."

You know you´ve made Kagome really annoying in this fic? I can´t even count two positive traits about her only negative ones and I don´t understand why you made her so. I´m not talking about her not noticing what Gary was after but her bitchyness, her being spineless, her being oblivious, her getting uncomfortable and shy because she "slept" with Sesshoumaru (what is she, 12?) and her being generally a bitch to Sesshoumaru. She did not really love Gary but she always treated him well and with respect but she can´t do that with Sesshoumaru or Katsuro who she calls a friend? Sorry but this is not like Kagome.

that's gonna be a hell of a *welcome home* for sesshoumaru, but maybe that will help to clear something between the...sesshou still needs to tell kagome that he has no interest to start a realtionship with anyone beside her, and that they already slept with one another, even though she cannot and does not want to remember  it XD

I am guessing that Sesshoumaru is either setting up another office building, so he can work from both Japan and the US or he's having a home built and is seeing to it's work being done to specifications. OR he can be doing both so that they not only have a place to live but Kagome will have a place to work seeing as she was doing the same type of job when she was working with Gary.

Whatever it is, I'm sure that Kagome is going to jump to all kinds of conclusions since she not only has the stress of the trial and work but she's now hormonal on top of it all. This is probably a show of jealousy and will work in his favor if Sesshoumaru can handle his temper with Kagome throwing a tantrum.

I'm also wondering how Rin will react when they finally tell her but I can't seem to get her reaction out of my mind when he said her name like he always did when he wanted her to just do as she was told with no further discussion. She already told him he reminds her of her surrogate father and she's a smart girl...   JEN

Wow, I wonder how Rin is going to react to finding out Katsuro is really Sesshomaru.  I can picture it a number of ways- Rin is a very different girl, she might just accept it as one more event in a life full of strange and weird happenings, or she might have a typical "difficult adolescent" reaction, but I kind of doubt she will be too bad, unless she fears the same thing Kagome did, that Sesshomaru will take her away from Kagome or force her to be disloyal to the woman who has sacrificed so much to raise her.  It will be interesting to find out...

Aaawwwww, he called her 'Koi'.  *warm fuzzies*  I wonder if she heard it.  Can't wait to see what happens next because I'll bet you that, at the very least, Rin suspects that Katsuro is actually Sesshoumaru.  Kagome really needs to give him the opportunity to explain himself.  He was right that they would have a more difficult time coming to an understanding while she was exhausted.  Can't wait to see what happens the next day.

My gosh, Kagome is so stubborn! I hope she does not snub sessh now that she knows it is him. Great update! As always, I look forward to more. Your daily updates are really making me look forward to getting up in the morning!

I don't know if anyone else has made this reference but you accidently put' Rin's mother was there too, sitting on the opposite side of Rin'... it should read, 'Kagome's mother.

Anyway, I know it's procedure to question Kagome to see if she knew Gary was doing any of this, but I kind of felt too that the detective was pouring it on too intensely, as if Kagome did in fact know. I was also worried about the evidence they might find and just the though that Gary had something revealing of Rin made me want to puke. Poor Baby, I just hope this doesn't have any real adverse effect on her.

I was expecting an all out yelling match when Kagome told him she knew it was him but this was a result of the evenings discovery about Gary. She wasn't in any mood to allow him to explain rationally and calmly. Kagome just kept reiterating the fact that she was Rin's rightful parent and he had no claim to her.

When she called him a liar, I just knew he'd lose his cool and put her in her place. This whole scene was quite that of a mother cat defending her kit. She was hissing loudly with claws ready to strike and Sesshoumaru wasn't much better in his defense. I thought the transformation back to him looking as she remembered him was sweet. An automatic peace and calm ocurred from just that one move.   JEN

Poor Kags, so much to take in. I like the break point, I have this mental image of them right at the edge of softening, the angery and passion nd energy in the air, with the underlying feelings softening the edges.
