Geeze, they found pictures on his computer!  What do those assholes need to prove that Gary is a child predator?  That makes me so mad, but I can really see it happening in real life.  Oh yeah, I know about guys and their martyr acts while they rip a female apart and take her heart and everything she loves with them.  Yeah.  Gary and his supporters need to pay.  If I'd been Kagome, my thoughts would have been much more violent than hers, I can promise you that.

Whew!  Kagome did well and the prick is in jail!  Can't wait for him to find out what happens to child molesters in prison. *unholy glee*  Sesshoumaru has shown admirable restraint, although, I still wish he could melt the guy.  LOL  I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone fares with Gary out of the picture.  He'll get out eventually, unless he's killed, and he'll do the same thing again.  I hope Sesshoumaru keeps track of him.  I'm just glad they caught him before he could do anything more to Rin.

I like how chapter 16 was centered around Rin so we could get some insight into her character. Can't wait for Sesshoumaru to convince Kagome that she is nothing that Gary called her ;)

Also, I can't wait for Rin to find out Katsuro is Sesshoumaru. Will she be mad like Kagome was, I wonder?

Loved this chapter. i so love Sesshoumaru. What more is there to say. LOL Except, maybe..hurry with the next update. Can't wait.

So Rin thinks Sesshoumaru is a reincarnation of himself...hmm, I wonder what her reaction will be when she finds out he's her Lord Sesshoumaru? Could go several ways and I'm excited to see how it plays out.

I like how she caught them getting alittle more than affectionate and that they both had blushed from embarrassment at being caught. She at least was able to get them to stop hiding the fact that they cared for each other.

I, too, think Rin handled herself really well in the courtroom and though she hadn't meant to cry, it's reactions like that that can sway the verdict in their favor, especially since it was a sincere reaction and it could be seen that she was truly upset. Now that her testimony is over Kagome will be the one that has to make everyone believe what actually happened. I can imagine how difficult this will be for her and even though she has been prepared for what might be said, you never really know just how good the other attorney might be at tearing into everything that's said and twist it to try and make Kagome look bad. Hopefully, she's prepared and strong enough not to let anyone slip her up and turn this on her.   JEN

Dun dun dunnnnn, Gary better get what he deserves! I really like the way you portray Rin, she's not too mature, or immature. Nice balance of her wanting to go to movies and hang out with her friends, without her being immature about her "mom" dating.

I like this chapter written from Rin's point of view.  It seemed like a very realistic take on how she might feel about what is happening.  Very in-character.  It also told us a lot about the progression of the relationship between Kagome and Sesshomaru without you just putting it out there, it is more subtle and interesting that way.  Seeing the kiss between Kagome and Sesshomaru in the kitchen through Rin's eyes was way different than if it were presented from Kagome and Sess' point of view, and was way fresher.

My treat for finishing the semester was reading and catching up with this fic!  I must say, that like all your stories, I'm hooked :)  I love how you incorporated Kagome into Rin's life, thereby leading her into Sesshoumaru's as well.  A fantastic job so far!
