Wow, I know that Yasha and the guys are in a very critial situation and their very lives are on the line, but I just love the banter between these men. If it weren't such a dire situation, this would be good comedy.

The action in this was amazing, as if I were watching the whole thing happen and then to know that the one who got hit was going to be someone we knew, oh gosh,... I could feel the hurt and sadness wash over Yasha and then Tanaka, they never lost a man before... I could totally understand Tanaka's actions. Grief like that...I know they were all shocked by his actions but I feel he was more than justified, and, they had gotten some useful information. Now, how to go about using this information to prove they were set up just like Maru's team.

Hoo!! Yeah!! Micheal stopped the guy from killing himself!!! Oooohhh, I can just feel Maru's hate and anger. Right here, he's THE Sesshoumaru, Lord of the West!!! It's a really good thing Micheal was there though. Just think what would have happened to the guy if Micheal had to...maybe take a pee break or something...

It finally looks as if everything is coming together. Onigumo will most definitely have a back up plan to prove he wasn't invovled with the botched massacre of the Black Dragons, but he isn't expecting Micheal and Maru, and their little surprise...

Poor Shippou kept putting his foot in his mouth, but you could tell he geniunely cares about Kagome. I honestly feel bad for Kagome. Here she is nearing the end of her trial and not only is she being treated as if she's already been tried and judged, but she's without a single friend to help make these last days a little easier to cope.

I can't blame her for wanting to find a civilian job instead of re enlisting. She's been through so much already and even if she is found innocent, there are going to still be those who blame her for Cresent's death. Just because she wins her freedom doesn't mean everything is automatically going to change. There's been enough propagada floating around that it'd be difficult to trust her life around these people again.

And even though I can understand her and Maru's way of thinking toward telling each other their feelings now, they are both just assuming again. They really haven't had the time to just sit and breathe, let alone get into any real serious conversation about what they mean to each other. So far they have had to deal with the happenings of the trial and how to get all the solid proof against Onigumo and then they find out that their daughter was dead.

Yasha just wants them to admit they still have love for each other so that they could have that love they deserve and that they were cheated out of. I guess I feel the same, but there hasn't really been any time to be alone and free from the time restraints of Kagome's trial. She's had more time to develope the friendship with Yasha because he was always there right by her side. It's easy to see how people would think they were a couple.

Now it seems as though the information Yasha found about the virus being one created for biological warfare and used to kill all those people maybe for nothing because Yasha and his troop were conveniently called away. Time just doesn't seem to be on their side right now, but we still have the new proof Captain Evanston has. I wonder if the guy was successful in killing himself or if there was a way for Micheal to make it look as if the guy did himself in?

I'm just loving this so much. Just when we think we know what's going on, you put in another twist. Excellent!!!  JEN

Ooh, I can't wait to read how hearing goes... I wish Onigumo digs his own grave. You make him suffer.. slow and throughout.

@_@ wow... that's all I can say at the moment. I just got caught up on all the updateds you've posted in the last few days and... damn... ookay first I have to say Onigumo is evil and I sooooo can't wait until he gets his just desserts... and I can already tell his expression is going to be priceless when he sees Maru is really alive. Second, I can't blame Kagome, she doesn't think she'll live much longer and who wouldn't want some kind of comfort before your life ends? Shoot it's only human after all. And poor Frazier, I feel bad for the guy, he didn't deserve to die. I'm just glad everybody else made it out alright. And as for that informant... I really hope he doesn't screw anything up, their all so close to getting justice that I can almost taste it. I really hope everything goes over well.

Anywho AWESOME job and i soooooo can't wait for the next update!!! I can't wait to see what happens!!

Oh My gosh, I've missed sooo much!!! This is absolutely amazing!! Since I last PMed you, my condition regressed and since my husband has been on vacation to keep an eye on me, he forbid me my laptop.

I am so amazed with the developement of Onigumo. You have really shown his character in this one. I mean, you really made him an intrical part of this story. You have given him a great amount of time and given us an indepth view behind his treachery.

I'm still so proud of Yasha in all of this. That man has gone above and beyond the bounds of a brotherly promise and becoming a unconditional caring, dare I say loving, friend. Maru and Kagome have NO idea how much Yasha must love the both of them and I do believe they have taken advantage of him. I've seen such patience in Yasha that I've never seen before.

I think Maru should tell Kagome that he loves her. I understand his feelings on the matter but I think Kagome would be that much more determined and secure knowing he was going to be there when all this is over. If she's found a traitor and sentenced to death, he'll never get the chance to tell her himself, in person and I feel the same thing about Kagome too. They are both dragging their feet way too long to be able to have that one moment when each one knows that what they shared wasn't lust and stress relief. If this is possibly the end of her life... Well, I'm sure they've heard Yasha enough, but it looks as if Onigumo might get the upper hand.

I think Yasha might have found more information from the old man who kept records for the doctor's clinic. To me, it seemed that this old man knew more than just where the records were and Maru's adventure's when he and Micheal were younger.

There's so much more I wish I could comment on chapter by chapter, but my husband and PJ are out for a little while and I'm going against my promise to sleep. Just know that you are doing such a phenominal job with this fic and I cannot wait for more...as well as more fics in the future because you and your fics have become such an important part of my happiness. You take me on THE best adventures, creating such marvelous mysteries and phenominal romance situations for Sessh and Kags.

1) Who got shot, if anyone?

2) Why didn't Maru mention Onigumo's presence durring his torture? Seems if he's alive and whitnessed Onigumo's involvement he could have had this entire decaucle resolved already.

Looking forward to more. Espeically more K/S interaction. There has been very little in this story, but that which HAS been there, has been meaningful. Thanks for the update.

hn.... not sure what to make of this chapter. I was pretty lost at first. I mean I had no idea Yasha was back, and reunited with Kagome. And what was with that voice Kagome heard in the chapter before? I thought that might be addressed. Also the bit with Kagome trying to find solace in the arms of another man. I thought you had great potential with this! I was a little dissapointed though that there wasn't an effort to make it more understanding where Kagome was coming rom, even if it wasn't necessarily RIGHT she still had reasons, which I feel weren't expressed nearly as well as Inuyasha's rage. Still, though a wonderfully angst filled chapter. Loveys!

I'm absolutely crushed that this will likely be your last story. No ill feelings towards you of course, but I'm such a huge fan - and I was so looking forward to another crime solving story, you had briefly mentioned doing, once before. Its always better to leave writing, when its no longer enjoyable though. You should savor your efforts and enjoy it as anyone would a hobby. If you simply dont anymore, then its not beneficial to continue. No one can begrudge you for making that choice. 

I thoguht the last two chapters were exceptional. I think Maru is a little set in believing KAgome will make it through the trial. He keeps using the "when she's exhonerated" card, which makes me feel like he doesn't take the situation seriously enough. I mean she could die without never knowing his true feelings. She could die, and their last moments together were of him using her body for his own release, rather than making love! (Which as a reader we get that both were FINE with that, but HE doesn't know that she accepted it for what it was, and understood the deeper meanings behind their joining. grr men vex me.)

I loved the records keeper (I forget his name, if it was mentioned)  He seemed like a funny old codger. Full of spit fire and wit that one!

Hopefully something in those docs will prove Kagome innocent. But i have the feeling whomever the "witness" was will throw a wrench in the entire thing. I keep thinking the "witness" is a fabricated testimony of Sesshomaru's. That Naraku is falsifying some testimony he made before his "death" or implying that he's still "alive." I mean who could possibly garner the protection of the committee in order to keep them from informing Kagura AS IS LAW (atleast the first chairholder seemed to be pretty adamant about upholding propre procedings in the begining, only to now pull a 180 with the witness) of all information pertainign to the case, like the witness' name. And who's testimony would hold such heavy sway over the commitee? I keep thinking Sesshomaru's testimony is the only one who's cuold do that. But I dont see how that could be either... I feel like I'm missing a detail from earlier.

I may just have to go back and reread the beginging again. Cannot wait for more!!!

Ooooh so it seems like Yasha finally found something, i really hope it helps in taking Onigumo down, dude deserves to get his ass beat for everything he's done. And really, Maru better step it up cuz by the sound of it, Kagome's already got one foot out the door, if not both. Can't say as i blame her though, things are pretty messed up.

As always great job and I can't wait for the next update!

Ok.... I just LOVED the way you really put some pride in this Kagome you created! Y totally LOVED her.... When reading other fanfics I feel my disappointment rise each and every time Sesshoumaru is an asshole.... and Kagome just reamins being the oh-so-forgiving-and-inhuman GIRL!! So... way to go!!! CONGRATS!!!!

I've been looking forward to this chapter since your last update :)

I'm sorry you've been having troubles, I hope they are resolved soon. I am sad to hear that this may be your last work, I enjoy all of your writing I've been able to find and always look forward to more. I don't want to be selfish, if you want to stop writing, I don't blame you. Just know that I really enjoy your work, and am always waiting for the next piece. I think you are greatly talented, and I thank you for sharing your talent with us.
