Well, we all knew it wasn't Kagome.  I don't even know what I hope will come of this, I don't have a best case scenario to hope for.  Which makes this situation very realistic, it reminds me of what really happens in real life.  Relationships get messed up, and the things we do make them worse, and maybe irredemable.  It is so sad, though!

This is so sad!  Please, make Sesshomaru either give in BEFORE they get evidence that Kagome didn't do anything, or make him REALLY GROVEL to an unprecedented degree before she forgives him...

I don´t understand why some of your readers are so hard on Kagome. Sesshoumaru is allowed to make mistakes but should be forgiven soon because he is male and doesn´t know better and shouldn´t grieve but if Kagome makes the mistake she should be punished more even have Rin leave her for Sesshoumaru? SHE has to be the mature, understanding and forgiving one all the time? Isn´t Sesshoumaru the one who lived for centuries and has more experience in relationships? True, females are often times more mature when it comes to relationships but why should she forgive everything that has happened to her? Some of you forget that she is only human and everyone, no matter how forgiving, has their limit. Is Sesshoumaru´s one tear really more worth than all the tears Kagome shed? How is that fair? Because he is LORD Sesshoumaru and Kagome an emotional being? That´s simply bullshit.

That is the same as in the stories were Sesshoumaru cheats on Kagome and she should take him back because he is sorry and tries to make it right but if Kagome cheats on Sesshoumaru she is called a slut and Sesshoumaru should dump her. Strange that these opinions are almost always coming from females.

I have to agree with ciera, some time apart would do both of them good and eventually a new beginning if you want a happy ending. Kagome needs time to breath and feel like herself again. She lived without him for years and should be able to do it again. It´s never healthy and anything but not romantic to say one can´t live without the other and it still doesn´t mean their love is not true when they can live without the other but choose to be together because of love.

I couldn´t say this as I was younger but now after some experience and further maturing, now at the beginning of thirty, this is what life tought me.

I understand Kagome's uncontrollable anger toward the girl and I understand her anger toward Sesshoumaru, but what I'm not getting is after he allowed her purifying release to roll over him, why is she just totally giving up on them being together? I know, I get how she feels after all of this but they really didn't even have a chance to sit down once all this was revealed and they both were calm enough to talk rationally to one another....???

She couldn't possibly think that Sessh should have allowed her anger to kill the girl, right? Is it because he took her and held her firm while forcing her to submit to what he was doing, that she made that final decision? Sesshoumaru may have made the worst possble mistake by not believing her AND for not admitting his fears about mating and marriage to her but he told her more than once since that his thoughts/feelings were more complicated and not easy for him to explain and they really didn't get a chance to just sit calmly and talk it all out like she said they would once they found out about Lady K and the Identity Theft. 

I feel like Kagome is just giving. She has been more than patient and understanding as she could be considering the circumstances but to just blow him off after all her effort to prove to them both...???  Ok, I admit it, I am totally blown away at Kagome's decision. Since they are not at home and Rin is fine with Grandma, I think Sesshoumaru needs to get her to TALK with him and he needs to TALK with her because if he allows this, there may be no fixing it. Maybe he should have listened to his inner inu and let him show Kagome just how deeply and completely in love he is with her. Bite the bitch already. (take it anyway you wish)  Maybe now she just needs him to prove himself to her. 

Come on Sesshoumaru, don't allow her just turn away...  JEN

Please... like Kagome would have even given Sesshomaru the same benefit of the doubt like he did her... and funded his search for the proof that it wasn't him in those adult movies... she made Sesshomaru cry... how sad...

I really hope that Kagome gets it and Rin chooses Sesshomaru over Kagome and goes to live with her father and has a good life and is cared for and protected... as opposed to living with Kagome and her poor judgement, and almost getting child molested by the man Kagome had chosen to marry...

Yes, some time apart is the best in this situation and I can understand Kagome totally. She had to endure so much and if she can´t depend on her partner then on who else? Sessh screwed up and nothing short of a new beginning will make this relationship work if Kagome still has the strength to try again.

Rin might act badly but I don´t think it would be fair to Kagome to pretend nothing is wrong just to spare the girl. This is not about Rin, and Kagome deserves a male who will not only love and trust her unconditionally but will also share himself and everything important with her. She deserves that after everything she had to give up just to take care of a girl who had nothing to do with her in the first place.
