“Stopping on top of a hill to look down on the house, they admired it from the afternoon sun. It was a quaint little house, not too extravagant and pleasing to the eye to look at. It was like a two-story cottage found in the country, with yellow-cream walls and dark green window panes. The door, a pale green colour, was between two tall, narrow windows. A squat, round chimney rose off the brown-red slate roof. To the side was a path to a garden of mix-matched flowers of all sorts and colours, a trellis covered in vines and flowers over the beginning of the path into the garden.”
