yeah kids and i don't mix all to well. i have a little sister who is 11 yrs younger than me and i am going crazy and she is driving me there! i'm still far too young to have any children of my own but who knows one day i mighthave 4 boys of my own!
I'm 13 years older than my littlest brother. My parents thought it would be good "Birth Control" if they had me take care of him all the time. Being homeschooled at the time it didn't mess with class or anything. But man did their plan backfire. As much as he drives me up a wall and turns my brain to mush and tries every patience bone in my body, he's just too cute and too much fun.
I'm also all for starting to have kids at like, 20. None of this waiting 5 years that other couples do. I watch my parents with my brother and having a kindergartener when your in your 40's is no pick nick.

well my mom had me when she was 17 and my dad was 20 and i saw what life was like for a little kid with a teenage mom and that is birth control enough for me. besides i see so many of my classmates that are pregnant and i don't and to be included with them. also i just got my college acceptance letter in the mail today....i am so pumped... and a kid would NOT fit in my day to day life anytime in the next 6 yrs of schooling 4 me

I was pregnant with my first child at twenty and had my second at twenty-two. I am slowly losing my mind to the terrible two's but I am looking forward to being forty and having both kids out of the house.
I love being young and energetic with my kids. I would hate to be older, trying to work full time, and still try to be active with my children like my parents did. They just don't seem to enjoy being parents any more.
Younger is better.

What gets us through each day with our sanity intact, one may wonder?
THe answer is, it's too late for that. Sanity is a thing of the foggy distant past. He has started coping by writing about Sesshomaru as a lovesick dog with a penchant for dressing up as cheesy pop culture icons. Hey, whatever works!

I am baking my first right now, and I find it strange that since I found out, it's like I'm surrounded in stories about parenthood that invoke panic and fear.

Thank you, thank you all.
Back on the topic of this thread, I have now read this story three times. It's probably my favorite fanfiction comedy of all time.

Don't sweat all the pregnancy/parenting horror stories you hear from others. Everyone always wants to tell you how bad they had it. Like it's a competition to see who has survived the most. Being a parent is the most stressful thing in the world, but it is also, by far, the most rewarding.
To begin with I was tickled by the responses I have gotten to this story, and how funny everyone thought it was. I give all the credit to MTV for beginning the mind warping process 20 years ago. And to the beautiful and deadly mama-sama6 for being both critic, and encouragement, as well as being a partner in mocking all things pop.
I feel kinda honored, by the praise everyone has given this quirky little piece. I only hope I can finish it with a with as much hilarity, and irreverence, as it started with. And hope as well, that it is not just a flash in the pan.
Thanks again

Well, I've just heard someone credit MTV for something didn't involve a pregnant teenager or body piercings.
I can die in peace now.

Well, I dont give them all the credit. Just that endless hours of watching 80's heavy metal music videos can definitely set the ground work for a lifetime of irregular brain wave activity.
If I had to list off the entire cast of credits, it would take a while, but begin with Monty Python, and The Kids in the Hall. And would stop somewhere around Tumwater, Washington.

Hey, babe....It's IN THE WATER....it used to be, anyways, when they were still the home of Olympia Beer.
But yeah, 80's hair metal is where the madness originates. It is a sad, nerdy, guilty pleasure, to be sure.

Just doing my best to bring a little comedic interlude to everyone's day. If you can get one good laugh in each day, then life can't be all that bad. Well I guess it can still be bad, but maybe it wont seem so bad. Yeah it could still seem bad, but ... well... Forget it! Life sucks! Now I have to turn on VH1 Classics, and regain my center.

Wow!, I mean, WOW! That may be one of the most disturbing pictures I have seen in a while. If that's not a valid form of birth control, I don't know what is. I am also quite concerned by the fact that you either went and sought out this picture, or worse still, already had it at your disposal. I am praying for you.

Suichi,
I cannot even begin to tell you how troubling that image was for me. I was beginning to relax...wind down for bed, you know, TURN MY BRAIN OFF.
And then I had to click on your little bit of wrongness.
You had to do it, didn't you? He's already in trouble for even allowing the evilness to surface....you are just feeding the fire, you know this, don't you?
Wicked, wicked.....

I was searching for an image that I could superimpose Sesshou's head onto. Needless to say, I found it.

I couldn't resist. I just... couldn't. I was so incredibly inspired, it practically posted itself. Although, I will apologize for any nightmares I may have not-so-accidentally incurred.
