I'm just recently getting back into the SK fandom, but off the top of my head:
Seven Feudal Fairy Tales by ladybattosai (M) - I think I recall them going on multiple actual quests

The Once and Future Taiyoukai by RosieB (T) - just reread this gem and for most of the fic, aside from detours which I won't spoil, they have a particular goal they travel towards

Sunset Love by Aurora Nyte (MA) - also just reread this goodie, and tho there wasn't a lot of travelling/questing, there were a lot of battles as Kagome helps Sesshoumaru fight an usurper
