As for the banners, I used GIMP for the background and then a free online photo editor called PicMonkey for the text and effects. I would use Photoshop if I had the money to pay for it, but GIMP is free and does pretty much the same thing, and since I'm not a hardcore artist or anything, I'm fine with it. *shrug*

My other contestants haven't disappeared, have they...? If any of you need help with how, exactly, you're going to get all aspects of your prompts into your stories, you can read Rin-Rin's entries - she's done a great job so far and I'm sure she'd love more reviews as well!

No, we haven't. At least I haven't. I'll be done with my story later today. I actually wanted to finish yesterday but got delayed when I accidentally killed my external hard drive, which had the only copy of this story . Luckily my data survived and I'll be finishing when I get home from work.

Quick question m'dear. Because I want to incorporate as many of these as I can into my new story:

For the theme, does it need to be present throughout the entire chapter? Or can I focus one distinct section on the theme, and leave it to be vague throughout the rest. O.o

Apologies for the late response - I got caught up in Merlin, which apparently decided to commandeer my soul for a few hours

Anyway, you can use the theme in any way you like. If it only fits in a certain section and has to be vague elsewhere, that's perfectly fine, so long as you use it.

Hope that makes things easier on you!

Darn it! Oh, wait, did it disappear from the forum or from your page? I'm fairly positive that I changed all of the links...Well at any rate, I'll be sure to go through and be sure that they're all changed, and you can re-collect your banner if you need to. <-- that goes for everyone, btw. I moved the banners into a folder on my photobucket album, so you may need to re-download your banners. Sorry about that!
