I saw a video on youtube of young girls turning 20 going to Sanjusangendo Temple for an archery event.

Here is what the poster had to say of the event.

"Toshiya is a centuries old tradition close to New Year's where archers come to test their mettle at Sanjusangendo Temple in Kyoto. Over 2000 archers go there many of them young girls in kimono and hakama celebrating their coming of age ceremonies.

In the past archers would try to see how many arrows they could shoot in a 24-hour period or how many times they could hit the target out of a set number of arrows. Today because of the huge number of participants, each archer generally shoots about 2 arrows at targets 60 meters away. The main attraction is the number of pretty girls in their beautiful kimono."

Here's the run down of how the fic should start. You can have it end anyway you wish.

1. Can be either Canon or AU.

2. Kagome is a participant celebrating her 20th. And both arrows hit the bullseye.

3. Sesshoumaru is curious of how she was able to do this. Because of A. Her practice from her travels in the past, or B. her practice from her own archery club experience, or C. Both a A & B can be use. (thank Katalynn for this)
