Hey all!

I was wondering if any of you are going to anime conventions this year? I'm going to Animazement in Raleigh, North Carolina (May 26th - May 29th). I'm also going to Youmacon in Detroit, Michigan (October 29th - November 1st).

So, are you guys going to any this year? Are any of you going to the two I just listed? If you are, let's make plans to meet! I'd love to meet some fellow Dokugians IRL.

I've been going to Youmacon for 11 years now as of this year~

I've already booked my flight and hotel for the RenCen, so I can't wait to go again and throw my famous pre-rave pizza party! Hopefully, we'll see each other there!

Also last year, I ran into a group of female cosplayers dressed as Inuyasha, Sango and Shippo~! :3

Last year I met a girl who dressed as a genderbent Sesshomaru, and a couple and their friend who dressed as Inuyasha, Kagome and Miroku. Inuyasha had a beard, and it was awesome lol.

Ok so this sounds like the coolest thing EVER ! The one in Detroit is closet to where I live so I'm gonna look into plans to attend, it would be super awesome to meet up !

Youmacon is a 4 day blast of fun! Especially, the 24 hour video game room and the *adult* 18+ panels there~ (If you're old enough to attend!)

I have gone to Youmacon every year since it started in 2005! Last two years we have only gone one day, but we always used to get a room and do all 3 days. I don't know if we were planning on going this year because we have both (my husband and I) become disenchanted with the whole convention "scene" and I don't dress in Lolita anymore. Probably will make a 1 day trip out of it, I mostly go for the dealers room. But if there's gonna be a Dokuga meetup count me there! I'd love to meet up!

Make that six LOL. I'll be there, I been trying to see if I could work it out so I can go Friday and Saturday. If it doesn't work out like I want it too, then it will just be Friday. Okay you guys, so I am seriously wanting to do like some kind of meetup at Youmacon, since there's like six people here who said they're going.

For those of you who are in Michigan / or want to come to Youmacon in Detroit, this October, I saw he have a Dokugian meetup! We can call it... Dokugacon, lol! XD

Sounds amazing! I'm looking up some conventions near me in NYC and new Jersey and Pennsylvania or Philadelphia. I can't wait to go this year and meeting fellow dokugaians would be great.
