Aw!!!! I think Kagome understands some.
But does she also understand she is in the past. Where males are stronger than females. Where males, especially intended mates and mates will fight to the death to protect those that belong to them and those they care for.
While what she did save Kura's life and expose who the true traitor is, Kagome was reckless for her own safety. Regardless that she trusts Ryou, what if Kura was with him at the time? What if, even if it disgusted him, he still killed Kagome (he did fight her even though he hated too)? What if he changed his mind in telling Sesshomaru, went to Kagome's room and while her defenses were down he killed her?

I don't think Kagome has the mindset of the "past" beliefs. Yes she is powerful but she is still human with vulnerabilities. Maybe to make up for what she did, she should go tell Sesshomaru her suspicions or let him or at least Inuyasha be there when she confronts another youkai regardless at how much she trusts them.

Kagome has begun to see Sesshomaru's heart and understand why he's been so alone for so long. When she was hurt, Sesshomaru was miserable as well. if she were to die, he'd probably never fall in love again. So maybe Kagome should be a bit more careful since she holds his life with her own.

Loved the story though ^_^

A very original back story and love story  between IY and Inari. I would neer have guessed that in a million years. Well Done:Love your characterization of IY  showing parts of his character that were only present during his time at the castle. Part of him that disappeared when hie left the castle. Hopefully Inari will be able to help him reqain what he lost

Eu amei o capitulo e a historia de maneira geral é maravilhosa. Mas falando do capitulo, a as atitudes da Kagome nesse capitulo não me surpreende por que se fosse diferente não seria ela. Finalmente o Inuyasha vai poder tentar ser feliz.

Kagome isn't as naive as Sesshoumaru seems to think. She knows how to play 'the game', but doesn't give in to the darker parts.

Amazing story....

I just wanted to let you know how beautiful this story has been so far.  I love you depictions of the characters.  I believe them to be amazingly  similar to how I imagined then from the anime.  The story has a smooth flow and falls together do wonderfully I can't wait to read more!  Keep it up!!! ^~^
