When I got to read the last chap.. I could not believe it was time for the ending
I was in angst the entire time while reading
I wish you had written an epilogue
Thank you for sharing this story
It was perfection
Thank you so much for writing this story. It took me through a variety of emotions and when I had finally finished reading it, I leaned against the shower wall and thought about life. Thought about how much people take for granted from day to day, especially regarding loved ones. It made me want to be more aware and appreciative of the present moment and my connection to the world in general. Stories like these are gifts from the Universe and I'm so happy it moved through you to spread this message.
Nile (Chapter 22) - Fri 02 Jun 2017
I've read this several times over the years and just re-read it again. I still get teary-eyed. Just a wonder piece of writing. Thank you.
Johann (Chapter 1) - Sat 18 Mar 2017
I can't believe that I only discovered this piece of gem when it's been sitting here for so long already. Can't describe it in words...it's that good.
Excellent....
Any more words would be blasphemy.
Koree (Chapter 22) - Fri 18 Nov 2016
OMFG I BROKE DOWN CRYING SOOOOO MANY TIMES !! This story was.. is AMAZINGGGGG !!! I'm at lost for words i definitely have to place this in my top 5 on Dokuga geez this was a really amazing story
I've lost count how many times I've read this, but it's one I always come back to when I want to read a really good, well fleshed-out story. I count this as one of the great classics up there with "Tales". A shame haven't posted anything new in a while, though, many of the 'old-timers' haven't. RL tends to do that and we all grow up and away from things like fan fiction.
Thank you so much for sharing this and everything else you've posted thus far. They continue to be a source of great joy in the past, present and future.
Kalia (Chapter 22) - Fri 22 Apr 2016
Reading this almost hurts my heart. The ending is so bitter sweet and it really made me want to cry. I hate and love feeling this way. Thank you for such an amazing and heart wrenching story.
Damnit, you made me cry. This is the saddest one I've read, and it was beautiful.
Raynell (Chapter 17) - Wed 22 Jul 2015
Waaah! My poor Sesshomaru ... sob! The PTSD depiction is really good -- madd me cry. His history, though entertaining, was a bit Forrest Gumpish, tbh. But few can resist inserting historical figures while writing stories that involve immortals, so no big.
Very good story so far. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm totally preparing myself for a heartbreaking finish. Call it my own SessKag PTSD: I read Tales from the House of the Moon without knowing anything about it. Made me burst into tears, and for a few days later, I would tear up suddenly. I'm just a wuss. Sigh.
Anyway, good job. I hope you get this message even though this story is old. Cheers.

Georgie (Chapter 22) - Mon 24 Nov 2014
This was so beautiful and sad. I completely fell in love with your portrayal of the characters; I laughed and cried along with all of them. I'm curious about what happened with the rest of the group, it'd be interesting to have built a story for them as well. But thank you for writing such a moving story, I haven't stopped to read something through in one go for a long time and I couldn't tear myself away from this one!

I've been reading fics on Dokuga for a long time and never thought to create an account, but you don't have an option for anonymous reviews, so.. here I am, haha!
This story was fantastic. There were a few hiccups, but those aside, you wrote beautifully and I believed your characters. I definitely cried when I thought Sesshoumaru really died -- he had come so far with Kagome.. I wish I could've known his thoughts when he came back to life and travelled, but the way you ended the story was fitting. All in all, I loved it and would probably read it again.
The whole "I was lost without you" thing felt a little contrived and almost insulting; it also felt somewhat Edward-leaves-world-collapses-Bella-catatonic-esque to me... I understand it was the ending and that she needed to embrace the silence, but I would've appreciate dsome silent apologies, or some sign that they weren't going to brush the whole two year abandonment after dying on her thing under the carpet. But meh. Whatever. I enjoyed the rest of the story too much to dislike it becays eof one disagreeable passage, even if it was the ending. Favorited!! (& re-read.)
Sniff.... Beautiful
Paige (Chapter 15) - Sat 02 Aug 2014
Really have been enjoying this story. Very well written and I've been reading for hours and hours. Nice reference to Descendants of Darkness, Muraki had amazing hair and it gives us (readers) a good idea.
Nicole (Chapter 22) - Tue 22 Apr 2014
Wow. You wrote an exceptional story.
Kristen (Chapter 22) - Thu 13 Feb 2014
I only forgive you a little bit. I just finished Allegient a couple of weeks ago, and if you have read the Divergent series or are reading it, then you know or will know that that book ruined my life. Forever. And then I read this and I thought it was going to ruin my life forever, too. But it didn't, only a little bit. I loved this story so much, and I got so attached to the characters. I don't remember the last time I cried so much when reading fanfiction, or anything really. Maybe the Hunger Games forever ago. I don't even know, all I know is my nose is stuffed and I really need to go to sleep. If only I could write papers as fast as I read. In any case, you're such a talented writer, and I just wanted to let you know, that even though I pretty much hated you for most of last chapter, I love you now...And I love your writing, and I would like to thank you for writing this :]
