He saw her bent down looking in a toy store window.

Being a demon, he could hear what she was saying.

"You want this one, or that one."

"The blue one." He heard the little boy say.

"Alright Senshi. Let's get it. But you must promise to be good threw lunch. Your grandma and I are going to be talking boring grown up talk."

"Hai. I will mommy. I promise." The little boy said.

'Mommy?' Sesshomaru thought. 'She's married, with a kid.'

He saw her stand up and grab the child's hand. The little kids silver hair floated behind him as he dragged her in the store.

"Sesshomaru." He heard the shocked voice say. "When did you get back into town, and why haven't you been by the house."

"Mom." He said kissing her cheek. "I just got back and was on the way to the office to greet dad first. Where were you on your way to?"

She looked down. "I was on my way to have lunch with Kagome."

"I just saw her with a little boy. You're his grandmother?"

"Hai."

"So the baka finally got together with Kagome?"

"No. He's still with Kikyo."

Not wanting to think of the obvious, he said, "So he cheated on Kikyo?"

"No Sesshomaru."

"Grandma." The heard as a little boy threw himself into his grandma's arms.

"Angel."

"Look what mama got me."

"Oh isn't that sweet."

Senshi cocked his head to the side and whispered to his grandma, "Who's he? He looks like Uncle Yashie."

He jumped from his grandma's arms and said, "Hi. I'm Senshi Takahashi. This is my grandma, and that's my mother." He said point to Kagome who was still glued to her spot.

"My name is Sesshomaru."

"Ses...sho...ma...ru." The boy sounded out, showing he couldn't be any older that five.
