Oh goodness. So, let me please say that you're a wonderful writer. You have a grand way of filling in the little details while also striving to paint an epic backdrop for all of our beloved characters. And I always love your portrayals of Sesshoumaru; they're spot on. I do have to say, however, that my heart broke in this piece much in the same way that it did in Capital Offense (which I also very much loved). While I am always able to empathize with Kagome's emotional plights, I find myself frustrated when her character falls into the sterotypical trope of 'irrational female' for one reason or another. While I understand that she is still young in this piece, I completely lose interest in her absolute inability to grow as a character. In fact, everyone seems to grow around her while she undeservedly continues to be given accolades for kindness and understanding that she can only very inconsistently generate. I really tried to undertand how trapped and forced she felt in the castle - feeling as though she were being railroaded into a decision that did not feel like her own through unfair advantages. That said, she never seems to internally grow. She has spent many years in a 'foreign' culture and era, yet shows no respect for such through her ignorant behavior towards others. You don't have to agree with others' practices or allow your person to be injured in order to respectfully use empathy to immerse yourself in another culture or blend your morales with those of others' in a respectful way. Sesshoumaru can be a real bully, at times, but he always comes around and opens intelligent opportunities for dialogue between them; which she usually uses to take offense, willfully misunderstand, lack empathy, while generally demonstrating that she is not Sesshoumaru's intellectual equal. Hell, most of the characters in the story comment on it, as well...and they're correct. Why? I love, love, love your writing, but also wish that strength would drive the story forward showing Kagome as a maturing individual, someone who would be a true partner to Sesshoumaru and not his petulant child. Your stories are so sexy and wonderful, I'd love to see Kagome  enjoy a mature arc - showing the reader her true strength of power (both internal and external). There's nothing wrong with showing the truth in how we creatures misunderstand and hurt one another - we do it a million times a day - and it drives most of our personal narratives in real life;  however, healthy adults will also create space for understanding, truly listen to their partners, learn from past mistakes, and try to hear the meaning behind their loved ones pain. Please let Kagome be one of these characters with your epic narrative powers! All said, thank you for your dedication to writing for our community. You are a powerhouse here and we all truly love your work <3

Nice, Sesshomaru.  Now tell her about how you went and tried to have sex on the very day you screwed up the spell to make her lose her memory.  Oh, and make sure to have everyone around her continue to treat her like she's the cause of every woe even though you're the one that set the whole thing in motion by adding extra words.  I love your story, but I can't help but genuinely dislike Niriko, Sesshomaru, and Inu Taisho.  Inuyasha too, but he's always a bit unlikable to me.

Very interesting story and beautifully written.  I think I'm in the minority, but I feel so bad for Kagome.  Her memories are gone, she's been having dreams that were mixing up the two brothers.. She's gone back and forth from the past to the future to the past.  Everyone around her is talking down to her and then praising her in the next breath.  It sucks for Sesshomaru, sure.  But he KNOWS why she's struggling, so his irritation with her (everyone's irritation with her) really irks me.  It was nice to see Kagome have someone actually listen to her and figure out one of her genuine concerns (even though he was condescending and she won't remember it).  I hope that Sesshomaru will take the time to have some conversations with her like the one his father had with her in this chapter.  

this was another good story written by you. i like your stories. keep writing ok. job well done. 

Again... simply astounding work. I really have no other words other than that. Beautiful, beautiful job. 

Wonderful story! However, I do have a few things I wish you had resolved:

1) Niriko's death, we didn't see her die, Kagome didn't address it personally at all.

2) We don't see Sesshomaru dealing with the scumbag who called Kagome a whore.

I really wish we could've seen Sesshomaru deal with that, and I wish we could've seen either Kagome witness Niriko's death, or have her save Niriko.

Alright, I'm a little lost. Whatever happened to the daemon who upset Kagome? Wasn't Sesshy going to hunt him down and make him pay? What about the wedding? I really would have loved another chapter that covers their mating creremony. Judging from the ending, is there going to be a continuation story or is that it? I knind felt like there wasn't enough closure. No warm and fuzzies, lol. 

Oh Kagome (deep sigh and face palm)...just always ready to jump to the worst conclusion when it comes to Sess.  He really does have the patience of a saint...the poor guy.

 I've watched and waited, hoping you'd come back and finish after life's stresses were gone and here you are and I'm sooo ecstatic to have you back.

This has been an excellent finish, with the exception of losing Kagome's only friend, the hanyou girl. The girl should not have had to die but if a character loss is what it takes to keep the story going...Well, I'm glad Sessh was finally forced to open up to Kagome about his feelings even though he fought to learn how to keep them at bay so no one could ever use his feelings against him and his feelings would never get in the way of him doing his job. I believe him allowing Kagome to see and know this side of him will definitely make their union stronger.

Great job, no matter how long it took to finish. You never lose talent. Until the next time...  Hugs,  JEN

OMG - I screamed when I saw an update for this story.  And then they kept coming...I can't wait to read all of these chapters!!!  The only downside is I have to wait until after work!  Ugh.  Anyway, glad to see you back.  Hope all is well.

Where have you been? It's been five months and three weeks since you last updated, I'm glad your back. I'm glad Sesshoumaru are finally together and mated, I can't wait to see what happens next! Please don't take months to update the next chapter. Keep it coming, Happy New Year!

You have been gone for FAR TOO LONG!!!

I have been having such a hard time understanding Kagome's reluctance in accepting Sesshoumaru's love and desire to mate her to the point that I wish I could just say I wish Sessh would just give up on her, but these last chapters has shone me so much and I'm quite estatic that InuPapa has finally come to her and aid her in predictament.

Kagome has been emotionally hurt by love and whether it's your first, third, or what, that hurt stays lingering in the background of your mind. You may think that you've grown and matured, allowing such things to move on as life experiences, but just when you don't need these past feelings to surface, there they are and your whole perspective of the life you dreamed of having is shattered and put into question. I think I actually get it now.

She can't help but wonder what's being hidden from her and if she's being manipulated, even IF what everyone tells her sounds sooo right and you can't rid your mind and dreams of the guy. She feels pretty stuck now. She left her family and for what, if she can't even remember what people keep telling her?

Good job, dear Lady O!!! You still keep me intrigued and though there are several more chapters for me to catch up on, I must leave them for another time. I just had to let you know my thoughts up to this point.    hugs.....JEN

Uh, wow.  I don't know what's more irksome -- that Kagome got her memory back and yet is still at odds with Sess OR that Sess just can't catch a break. Has he not suffered enough?  I mean...sigh.  Yes, he went on a verbal tirade but damn if I wouldn't be doing more than mouthing off at this point for all the drama and misunderstanding that he's had to put up with for the last few years.  

Congrats, I think you've done such a great job of portraying Sess' long-time suffering that I'm just so annoyed with Kagome.  I'm hoping they can sort this out soon bc I'm almost wishing that Sess just leaves Kagome and finds someone else.

Yeah, she for her memory back!  Wow, Sessh put his foot in his mouth, ouch.

Thank you for both chapters, there both amazing. I'm glad Kagome remembers everything, Sesshomaru had to open his big and ruined everything, I hope he makes it up to Kagome. Keep it coming.
