Feelings are a complicated and tricky thing. I think it will be quite interesting to see how you get little Kagome to realize the truth of her feelings and admit it to herself. I can see Kotono being frank with herself. The three of them do make quite the...pair. Not couple, umm....symbol of love and friendship (no matter how different they are or where they're coming from). I can't wait to see what happens next :)

First, I'm happy to see an update to this artfully written story. I usually don't review since i'm not that good expressing what i appreciate in a chapter, but I do tend to try and give constructive criticism where I see small cultural inaccuracies. Not that I feel it should be corrected (creative licence exist for a reason), but it could come in handy if you ever want to get as historically accurate as possible on a story.

The scene where sesshoumaru write his letters has a great feel. But if japaneses (and chineses) did use parchments and stones to stay them while writing, the writing ustensiles were much more portables and still took longer to be ready to use... There were no quills, only brushes just like they still use in calligraphy nowdays (and that's a hell of a lot easyer to master, I've tried both) and there was no liquid ink, just a smooth special stone, an ink stick and water in a small container. You were to pour a few droplets of water on the inkstone and grind the inkstick on it until the stone have abrased enough ink to tint the water black, then and pour a little more water to grind the inkstick in... until you had prepared enough ink to write all you needed.  (You can search for "ink stones" in google or wikipedia)

The process takes quite a while, but writer was supposed to think the exact content of the letter while he prepared his ink, then write it all in one go. I don't know if important peoples with a lot of urgent correspondance to send would have someone preparing ink for them and just pour it in the dip of their ink stone. But in that process, the writer would still use the stone to ajust the amount of ink in the brush, so the helper would have his/her own separate stone to prepare ink in (it's not usable until it's ready since the saturation of ink in the water slowly increase).

But I have a quick question, will you be updating the non-threesome story on AFF for the holidays or will that chapter be later? Anywho, keep up the good work!

I am so happy you finally updated!  I have been waiting for this story for so long I thought you forgot about it.  I have to say I love this chapter but  please keep that sesshoumaru and kagome passion there. I dont know what going on with kotone and kagome's feelings but I just want say I like them both but i Honestly perfer reading about kagome and sesshoumaru. Great job caputring there emotions  and this was an awsome chapter!

Always enjoy the smut if its taking a little longer than planned for the plot to further revel itself. They just seem to have a way about themselves, hot in and out of the bedroom. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

this story is amazing, engrossing.. i love how you use your knowledge of japan and its customs in your storyline... though i have to say for all your warnings of a threesome i have yet to see one(unless you count the one with kagome in the hallway)....  i look forward to reading your other writing as well as updates on this masterpiece..

Wow, I was behind two chapters! Very happy to read this updates. Somehow I missed them!  I truly enjoyed the return and healing of Kotono. Most especially, I enjoyed the rising intensity and closeness that Kagome and Sesshoumaru are sharing.  The passion and intimacy was very evident in that last chapter, as their hunger flowers into something deeper. 

Why do I feel that angst is looming on the horizon? The plot twisting kind?  Hmmm...

I love this story! so much mystery still to unravel! The love seems to be steadily and subtly growing which I think is more true to Sess's character than the love-at first sight or first time they have sex theme. Thank you for all your hard work :) Can't wait to find out how the story ends!

Ahhh, yet another lovely story to add to my list. And believe me, I have quite the list. most others either find a never seen agenda to tell that sends the reader reeling for more, or they have a simpler one with original woven twists told in the most intricate of ways. You are a beautiful combination of both. I feel as if I'm serving my eyes and brain a meal each time I read. You write with empathy. I feel everything that's going on like a blind woman. I simply love this fic. Your characters balance and have lives of their own. I bet you feel that they are writing themselves after a while.

Kagome's not allowed to get preggy, right? So she has to take stuff to keep her from getting preggers? Aaaand... Haha, is there a reason for Sesshoumaru being very very attentive to Kagome right now, or is he normally like that?
