Christine (Chapter 3) - Fri 15 Oct 2010

I found all the details of Sesshoumaru's care under Kagome immensely interesting. I feel sorry for her, she's running herself ragged in her devotion to him and having to work as well. I like her dedication and determination to render Sesshoumaru a life that has some dignity about it.

All the information about how he was found in the forest and overgrown with moss and twigs was so fascinating, like something out of a Grimm's fairy tale.

Heartfelt thanks washed through me when he showed signs of waking and I found all Kagome's little tests to see what functions he had regained very absorbing. I am liking your story more and more. Thankyou so much.

Christine (Chapter 2) - Fri 15 Oct 2010

Your attention to detail in this story is wonderful. You paint such vivid pictures as you describe the surrounding and the interactions between Kagome and the others around  her. I find the medical aspect of Sesshoumaru's care fascinating. I was glad when Kagome decided to take him home and look after him. I love the description of her little apartment, it sounds like a snug little safe haven. I was very moved when Kagome hugged Sesshoumaru and cried into his lovely hair. Such a beautiful vulnerable moment, I felt every tear Kagome shed. I like this story so much, it  is different and well thought out and described so well in such loving, minute detail. I look forward to the next chapter very  much.

Christine (Chapter 1) - Wed 13 Oct 2010

I feel very engaged with your story already even though I have only read chapter one so far.  I found you when I went looking in the forums to get some hints for avoiding gaffs and mistakes as a writer and I saw your name and your interesting comment. I clicked on you based on how you interested me there and as they say the rest was history!

I like the setting of this story because it is very different from most others. I like the use of the medical language without interruptions to explain it so as not to break the mood. I very much like the extremely detailed descriptions of everything; from Kagome and her fellow workers to Sesshoumaru and his condition to the look of the home and the other people who make up its matrix.

I like this very much and continue reading with interest.

misaki (Chapter 22) - Sun 19 Sep 2010

This made me want to cry. Twice.

lollipop (Chapter 22) - Sat 18 Sep 2010

Wow that totally made me sob! Excellent story!

Frontalis (Chapter 22) - Fri 17 Sep 2010

After reading until chapter 21, I was really pissed 'cause I thought you just left it there. I usually copy the fics I read to my ebook reader so them can read it anywhere. When I went online to leave a review, I noticed that I actually haven't read the LAST chapter yet! OMG. I was probably in a hurry to DL and read your fic last time that I didn't notice it's until chapter 22.

Anyway, I loved it. It's now included in my list of favorite stories. I really wanted to cry while reading chapter 21, but everything just happened so fast I couldn't get over the shock. While I was reading chapter 22, I was seriously bawling, and I was crying mostly for Kagome. I know Sessh had to do that for himself, but Kagome was in pain too. Your Kagome, of course, understood and accepted the situation, but if I were her, I'd kill Sessh myself. LOL

Again, that was amazing. I hope you write more chapter stories. I'm not really into one-shots, but if I get in the mood, I'll probably read some of yours.

Fane Eirdorne (Chapter 22) - Wed 08 Sep 2010

Oh. My. Kami. This story has made me smile SO many times. I have to admit that I almost cried when I thought Sesshoumaru was really dead (which for me is saying something; I never cry while reading) but then I laughed when it became clear that he wasn't dead after all. I absolutely ADORE this story! You characterized all the characters so well, and it was like I could see everything happening as I read it. Love it! ^^

MomoiroOhiOni (Chapter 22) - Tue 07 Sep 2010

i just died then came back read the last chapter and cried ;D this was AMAZING the absolute best im thinking about never reading another fanfic cuz they wont compare to this!

Arctic (Chapter 22) - Mon 06 Sep 2010

Omg I ABSOLUTELY love/hate your WTF chapter! You totally brought me to tears and I totally saw it coming!! I was like "Ha she's gonna kill off sesshou and bring him back" but the way you did it made me doubt my conclusion and think he was not coming back. Amazing story and the song at the end fits 100%. You're an awesome writer, great work.

Caitriona (Chapter 2) - Sun 29 Aug 2010

I'm only just finished chapter 2 and this is breaking my heart.  I'm a CMA and have worked with these kinds of people.  Even reading about it or something like this happening to a person/character that I've read about for years makes me a little uncomfortable.  This means you're doing a good job!

Thanks for writing for us.  Onto chapter 3!

shinkonokokoro (Chapter 22) - Sun 29 Aug 2010

Aah... This is a really lovely story. :) I just spent all evening reading. And I don't regret it in the slightest. I'm so glad that they got together in the end and were able to be together without hurting. You've really done a brilliant job with this, and the song that you've linked is pretty much perfect. Great job with this. You definitely deserve the award you won for it. I love how you tied everything in. The bit about Rumiko Takahashi was really great... haha, using them as real beings from which she would create her manga. :) Great job!

shinkonokokoro (Chapter 21) - Sun 29 Aug 2010

Ah, I knew it!!!! I knew he couldn't be dead! I bawled all the same, however... Hard-core. But I'm glad that he's apparently alive??!?!?!?

shinkonokokoro (Chapter 16) - Sun 29 Aug 2010

Dear goodness... Reading about Rin's death was the worst--I pretty much bawled. (For some reason, her death always makes me cry) And then Inu Yasha's death.

shinkonokokoro (Chapter 15) - Sun 29 Aug 2010

Wow. Really. The complexities of what's going on here--how the audience finds out little by little it tantalising. I can't wait to find out more about what's really going on. The end of this chapter was particularly hard to read. Seeing one that is usually so proud become so terrified, wishing death is really hard. Had me crying a couple times. But I definitely love how you've written the characters. Everything seems to come together with purpose. Lovely writing.

shinkonokokoro (Chapter 8) - Sun 29 Aug 2010

Chapter 8 is lovely. It's beautiful because just about every woman has insecurities about her body, and seeing a man take that away--give a woman confidence about her body and the way she looks is fantastic. I'm glad that you included that and showed Kagome and Sesshoumaru together like that. They both have insecurities and while some of hers may have been eliminated, Sesshoumaru's present themselves more glaringly. You've done a great job writing these two characters, and I can't wait (more like anticipate) what he's been through in the past. I can't wait to read it so I have the complete picture in my head. This is fantastic.

shinkonokokoro (Chapter 4) - Sat 28 Aug 2010

I found chapter four hauntingly beautiful. You've done a lovely job rendering Sesshoumaru's thoughts and 'speech' here. Fantastsic job, really.

Misaki Kaito (Chapter 22) - Sat 28 Aug 2010

I loved this sooo much! Thank you for writing this!

marissa (Chapter 22) - Thu 26 Aug 2010

Wow.

this story is amazing.

i just read all night for hours even though i have physics class in a few hours..

i cried at the end becuase i was soo happy.

loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Discord-Maru (Chapter 22) - Mon 23 Aug 2010

Ok there have been very ,very few fic's that had me tearing up like this one has. All I can say is thank you for sharing with us a truly great work of art .

Dana Daidouji (Chapter 22) - Sun 22 Aug 2010

I'm rather speechless.

This is one amazing, breathtaking story to read. I do not mind the lost sleep at all having read it through the night, early morning and the following day. I must say you are clearly gifted with words in a way that allow the readers to see everything as if it were a movie playing in front of their eyes, and feel everything as if they are the characters themselves.

I must also commend you on the ease which with you use the medical lingo as it flowed seamlessly within the scenes, making them even more real.

I'm so voting for you in the Dokuga Awards.

Keep up the excellent work!
