Lady Hiroko (Chapter 15) - Wed 04 Aug 2010

I know what you mean about life kicking you in the butt. I've been the same way. I just got done volunteering for our annual 2-week event called Cheyenne Frontier Days. I volunteered 1 night and 2 days, to which I backed down on the 3rd day (broken into shifts), and I couldn't get the smell of potatoes off of me. Our squadron had a Spud Booth. Basically I was the driller of the potatoes that peels the potaotes before they get deep-fried. They taste like potato chips. Now I don't want to see another potato chip for the next couple months. I just got told I got a PT test Monday, Honor Guard Tuesday, college in September, and I MIGHT get deployed in January all in one day (today). So yeah. Talk about getting your kister-kicked.

Great fic as usual. I'm still hanging in with Remnants. Though I probably need to skim through it to recall it. A spelling error but it's not significant to point out. If you got a brain, then you'll mentally correct it as you read. If you don't, well then you're screwed.

~Juggalette4Lyfe420~ (Chapter 15) - Wed 04 Aug 2010

Noacat (Chapter 15) - Wed 04 Aug 2010

You know, when she finally knows the truth of what Sesshoumaru did it's gonna be an epic blow up.

That said, I like the quiet, contemplative tone you've set for this story. The emotions are subtle, well thought out and beautifully internalized.

NAo-chan33 (Chapter 14) - Fri 30 Jul 2010

This chapter was... cute. :3  Kagome and Sesshoumaru...  lol  Well, keep up the great work!  Can't wait until the next one!

Midnight Cat (Chapter 14) - Sun 11 Jul 2010

Well, I am sure happy that your computer is back in action!! This is a great story and it would be really sad if you couldn't post!

Anyway, Great Update!

Before I go on with my review, I have to tell you that it is completely your fault that I couldn't stop giggling while reading this chapter! I seriously tried! But I just had to wait until I could get the laughing down before I could continue!!

You see, if it wasn't for "certain artist" on this site, who kindly decided to generously gift us with some very "provocative" fanart images of certain "Sword Smith" in some rather "risque" poses, I wouldn't have to picture him like that while reading the chapter! (YOU wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?)

So while I tried to concentrate on the words, the images just kept overriding my mind!!

After about an hour of hard concentration and acute breathing exercises, I was finally able to get my brain back on track to finish the chapter!

The scene where you describe Sesshomaru placing Kagome on Totosai's futon (Do not think of hentai fanart!, Do not think of hentai fanart!), was really sweet. Perhaps even if he doesn't want to admit it, deep, deep down, Sesshomaru really is grateful for the company that Kagome provides for him, and her concern for him has touched something in his heart.

Somehow, I can almost picture the new armor! I see it as really smooth and shinny, and in contrast with the previous one I imagine it must look quite regal!! If I was Kagome I would have done exactly the same thing she did and run my hands all over it's surface!

The image of Kagome running her hands over Sesshy's chest was quite amusing! I can swear I saw it in my mind!! I can see his eyes widening for a second while a flash of panic made him grab her hand!! He probably was wondering where did that come from! LOL!!

Kagome didn't seem as affected as he was by their accidental touch, but I imagine this is because this is completely out of character for him!!

I look forward to the next chapter and hope to see what else happens on their way to see Bokusenou!

Once again, thank you for writing and sharing!

Hugs:

1CarinoInu (Chapter 14) - Sun 04 Jul 2010

Ah, so good to see another update from you!  This was beautifully done, and the innocence on both sides was not missed.  *chucke* so it begins.  I look forward to seeing what the old Youkai tree has to say to Sesshoumaru.

Keep writing!

Terry Lynn (Chapter 13) - Mon 31 May 2010

You are making a great fic. Kagome and Sesshomaru characters are right on the dot. I hope to read more from you soon.

Oh my gawd.. the whole Inuyasha thing is just going to bite Sesshomaru on the ass late on..

Ruriame (Chapter 13) - Sun 30 May 2010

I've been meaning to check out your writing for a really long time because if there are writers that are heard about often, it's usually for a reason. But I never quite got to doing that until today and I'm very glad I did. Your writing is very detailed without unecessary things that would overdo it and there's a petic edge to it as well. I didn't know what to expect from this story when I read the summary and this is really nothing like what I had in mind. But I think that's accredited to the fact that the idea is something I would never be able to think of. It's very creative and yet it pulls a lot from stuff that I think about in reference to canon events as well.

I also think that the way you choose to make the characters speak and think adds a lot to the story because it matches my perception of their personalities. And I'm not having that speaking conflict that I sometimes get in stories I read that have good ideas but seem slightly off because the characters are speaking in a voice that doesn't seem to suit them. I think being able to maintain that is truly amazing. Speaking of the canon, the backstory was really "wow" for me because it made a lot of sense. There is a lot of depth to this story and I truly look forward to reading more from you and seeing what you do with the plot! I'll definitely be checking out your other writings as well.

NAO-chan33 (Chapter 13) - Sun 30 May 2010

Yeah!  Go Kagome!  :D  Sesshoumaru was very cute in this chapter...  in my opinion anyways.  :3  Well, keep up the great work!  Can't wait until the next one!

Midnight Cat (Chapter 13) - Sat 29 May 2010

Thank you so much for another wonderful update! This whole chapter I kept imagining DaiGin just smacking his forhead while saying "Oh no! Here he goes again!" while rolling his eyes!! LOL!!

It never ceases to amaze me how Sesshomaru's pride always manages to get the best of him, and at the same time to build this impenetrable cold wall around himself to keep everyone at bay.

Luckily, Kagome has enough drive and persistence to overcome things like this, which should make for an interesting next chapter!

I sincerely look forward to your next update, and hope that you will still reconsider not leaving the fandom. Your stories are mazing and you trully have a gift with words!

Thank you so much for writing and updating, I look forward to the next chapter with much anticipation!!

Best wishes and much love:

MoxyMikki (Chapter 13) - Sat 29 May 2010

I had assumed your stories were abandoned but I'm glad to see I was wrong. Although long anticipated, it was worth the wait. Wonderfully written with care and attention to detail. It was very much enjoyed and I hope to read more AP and RoS in the future. Good luck with your writing and those illusive plot bunnies. If you want someone to bounce ideas off of or help to keep you motivatate I nominate ME! as I'm a huge fan. :)

1CarinoInu (Chapter 13) - Sat 29 May 2010

Yay!  Thank you for such a wonderful chapter.  Better late than never, as your writing is always worth the wait!

I like the interaction, though, ever so slight, between the two.  A relationship, whether just as friends or more, takes time to build.  It will be fun to see how things continue to progress.

REDWOLF (Chapter 12) - Sun 25 Apr 2010

Great chapter...I wonder how helpful Kagome will be when the whole truth comes out to why Sesshoumaru is in trouble?

a Mysticlady (Chapter 12) - Thu 15 Apr 2010

Great story, just can't wait to see how they will interact. I can only hope he doesn't try to keep Inuyasha's way of death a secret for long.

mary (Chapter 12) - Thu 15 Apr 2010

why weren't you pleased? because nothing major happened? weell, it was more like the internal musings of kagome but you put it out there, you know? in what kind of state she is in? then when she finds out the truth of seshomaru's 'situation' the heartbreak would definitely be much more painful right? so, keeping this in mind, yeah i enjoyed the chapter.

Miss.Undo (Chapter 11) - Fri 02 Apr 2010

i like the story even tho the inuyasha part made me cry...pathetic i know anywho please update soon i want to know what happens now.

ladybattousai (Chapter 1) - Thu 01 Apr 2010

That was a very nice first chapter.  The concepts flowed well throughout it and the grammar and spelling were impeccable. It felt as if I was being read to from a story book, which I believe is the effect you wanted.  Unfortunately, I felt a certain degree of distance between the writing and myself.  Having a relatively formal style too, this is also something I've had to cope with in my stories.  I would suggest that you start to use contractions more.  They seem kind of base in a way, but you'd be amazed at how easy they are to read and how they bring you into the writing.

Midnight Cat (Chapter 11) - Thu 01 Apr 2010

It is sad to know that a talented writer such as yourself has decided to leave fanfiction writing for good.

With the end of the Manga, many writters felt that they no longer had anything to offer and left the fanfom abandoning so many wonderful stories to never look back, and to us the readers it became a sour subject to visit our old favorite stories and find that the writer had completely forgotten about their works.

Now a days the writers who still care to offer something worth reading to the fans are few and far in between, so to read that you have decided to leave it makes it a sad moment that I wish was not so.

I thank you for continuing to update this story and hope you would reconsider your decision;your talent is above many so called writers, and your imagination is proof that the muses still wisper to you.

This latest chapter reminded me of a turtle in a movie called "The Never Ending Story" which happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time, and it made me enjoy this chapter so very much!!

It made perfect sense to me that the blood of Kagome would be the key to obtain the piece of shell, something akin to an exchange of sorts, a payment per say for something so valuable.

I love this story and how it has played so far, and really look forward to your updates, I hope that the love of the readers would convince you to perhaps just take a small hiatus rather than stop alltogether writing for the community.

In any way, I wish you the best, and I hope that you know that many of us are really sad to see someone as talented as yourself go away. We love you and apreciate your gift to us, by sharing your amazing writing with all of us.

Thank you again and may the muses sing to you at all hours day and night!

Hugs:
