Oh how happy you have made me...I am so glad they were able to talk and having Kagome with her head on his chest kept him from seeing any reaction she may have made. I wonder though, does his markings still appear or has that part of his family traits been washed away with time? I can just bet how she's love to see his stripes and how they angle around his body. Well, gotta go...I had to take my laptop back to the GEEKS for them to babysit for a few days as it keeps freezing up and having trouble even booting up, so, now I'm here using the wifi to update my husband's laptop so I can use it until they find out the problem with mine. I don't know if i wanted to smile or cry with this chapter!! The begining was kind of to be expected, but then the middle was sort of sad cause Kags was making Sess feel the way she did back in the hospital, but then the end just made me want to smile. Kags maybe a bit confused now, but at least subconsciously she's still very much in love with him, and apparently the feelings mutual!!

AAHHHH...silly fangirl image jumping up and down doing a happy dance...I knew she couldn't handle it. He was much braver than she to be able to allow her that kind of personal information. She thought SHE had the market covered on wierd and freaky! You know, I know this is in your mind and plot too but he can't relate to love because he is youkai and youkai like him do not feel something that could be considered a weakness or that could be a potential threat to their thirst and drive for power. Not that a youkai CAN'T love but they have been so conditioned throughout the ages that love is a human emotion. If he would use his investigative skilss on his own words as he describes his want and need for Kagome in his life then he would come to see that it IS love that he feels with her and for her. Now holding her after all they have laid bare before each other and the separation they had, his protective guard is down and his heart is able to say the words he fought to say. Can't wait for more. YaY They got him!!! I was wondering how long it was going to be stretched out, but i like the way it all came about, very well done!! They way Kurt reacted towards Sess as well was nicely done, it showed as tough as Kurt was with the rules, his niece's happiness was more important to him. I had actually thought that it might turn out to be someone on Sess's team, but i'm glad it wasn't!! But the Orville is one sick, deranged, bastard!! Now all we need to see is Kagome's recovery! Oh my gosh! Here I've been going through all these scenarios and suspects only to be totally WRONG! I missed something. I must have. YOU ARE GOOD!!!!! Every time i catch up with this story, it just keeps getting better as the plot thickens!!! I soooo didn't see the attack on Kagome happening, but that just shows how great this story is, it keeps me guessing!! Dave is kind of an obvious suspect, so i don't think its him, but i do think its someone we probably would least expect! Thanks so much for the great updates!!!

Things are moving along and getting more intense as it goes. I knew Dave would be cleared but that doesn't really put him out of the running for me. You didn't say his alibi was real. There's still that guy she and Paul met on the way in to setting up the party too. It left a my heart aching when Sessh went to finally see her. I could honestly feel his heart breaking. On an up note, the comment over Kagura napping on the sofa in Sessh's office was hiliarious!I don't think she'll ever be able to sit there again. I liked the bit of background story in this last chapter. It helps to understand the relationship Dave has with Sessh. Wonder if Kurt is going to come down hard on Sesshoumaru or if he knew and approved of the relationship. I think it would have been great if he approved and decided to wait after the holidays to tell Sessh and Kagome and give them a choice of switching shifts. But I guess I'll find out soon enough. There's going to be some atrocious twist isnt there? It's going to be the last person we could possibly imagine, I bet it's Kurt. Not appreciating his neice being sullied or something like that. Or then again that guy that offered to help Kagome bring in stuff for the party was mighty suspicious...it could've been that guy from the conference that tried to feel up Kags...hmmmm. Idk why I'm bothering to speculate because I know you'll only throw me for a loop. So you continue on with your greatness and I'll be waiting.

I like this!! CSI is one of my favorites and this almost like an episode, but better, much more better because it has more details. Great Job!

Ok, my mind is having a field day with this. First, I want to just shake Sesshoumaru. Just because the attacker called her a whore doesn't mean he heard them in the office. It could refer to Kagome kissing the list of men Paul told her to and the outfit he choose for her to wear. She was hugging some of the men that she considered her friends and maybe the attacker was jealous or angry she didn't kiss or hug him. You' ve already established that it was an inside job because the audio related that she wasn't afraid. Now we have Dave. He's really just a paper pusher, right? He goes to Sesshoumaru and tries to start trouble about Kagome being in Sessh's office alone. It matters not how long they were in "evalutions" because whose to say that the eval wasn't interrupted by phone calls? Unless Dave was outside the office timing the evaluation, recording their voices or video of what they were doing he has nothing to back up his claim. He goes to Paul and asks for information that in the file Paul worked on. He should know that's none of his business and that no matter who the case is about regulation states that it cannot be discussed with anyone other than the lead investigator. Dave is all about rules and regulations, right? Ok now, on a different note. Sesshoumaru stated a few chapters back that he can smell things that a normal person should not be able to and that smelling others arousal bothers him. Could he not smell something around the area or on Kagome's clothes that may help? What about the feeling of others emotions like fear, anger, etc. He said he could sense these things in people but Kagome was able to hide her attraction for him and he thought that odd. So many questions. I guess I better leave you alone for now because there's other things I am thinking and really, I don't want to become a nuisance. Love the intrigue! JEN
