Ive been forgetting to review and for that im really sorry. It doesn't reflect on your story cuz i absolutely love it. I was a little effy at first but then i decided to read it and now im in love. The fact that you can still carry out your story beautifully in only 100 words shows that a lot of talent and time goes into it. I can't wait til the next one and to see how the relationship between Kagome and Sesshoumaru goes. til next time... :)

I have to admit that I really didn't think much of your fic at first. I saw it when it first came out and how short the chapters were and I decided not to 'waste my time' with it. Usually those who write shorter chapters, in my experience, completely suck. Besides that it seemed like an over used plot to me and I usually look for shiney new ideas. Now I completely regret not reading this earlier! Trust me I'm kicking my own butt for dismissing this little story so soon! You write brilliantly and the plot is so much different than I expected. Your characterizations are wonderful and entirely believeable for the two. I love that Sesshou-Maru thinks so little of Kagome, and that she's trying so hard to befriend him just makes it all the sweeter. It's cute that he has to protect her now, though, admittedly, not as cute since it's basically him trying to avoid a second 'master.' (Unless I'm understanding it wrong, which is entirely possible). And I don't even mind the shorter chapters! Which is amazing for me! The amount you give us is perfect for this story. I applaud you! 'This is serious' - I think only he realized just how serios this his. Maybe he should think of lightening the darkness that surround Kagome. Althought she propably doesn't see it. Great snippet. I love this story.

Each new chapter you write is a perfect little haiku that mirrors Japanese minimalist aesthetics at its best. You are the Basho of sesskag fanfics.

it is a great testament to your storytelling skills that I have been faithfully reading each drabble as you post them weekdays. (Yes, I realize I haven't reviewed up until now. I'm of the type that likes to get a good sense of the story before I review. Oh fine slap me on the wrist if you like...) Anyhow, usually when it comes to this type of drabble-story I get far too impatient and hate to read just tidbits at a time. I will usually put off reading each drabble until I can do so in larger chunks (say 20 at a time). But with your story each drabble presents such a poignant moment in time - while simultanously fitting into the overall storyline so seamlessly - that I find myself unable to wait and reading each drabble as it comes out. Of course, I delight in these 1,000 word installments as they provide a treat of a bit more substance. I wouldn't complain if all chapters were this long - but it's still great even with the shortness of most chapter.s And the ending to this particular chapter was nothing if not delicious. Ah, Sess is left hanging and simultaneously surprised by Kag the ingenue.
