Summary: Kagome is pregrant with Inuyasha's child, but he runs out on her to be with the living corspe Kikyo. Kagome is hurt and abonaded by the man she loves, wounds of this kind can only be healed one way...SessXKAg pairing PG-13.

Disclamer: I don't own the Inuyasha crew (even though I wish I owned Sessy XD) or the polt which came from firequeen6 thought the fic challage.

Chapter one: Open Wounds_________________________________________________

Kagome sat cluching her large midsection, crying. She had just been hurt, hurt in the worst way...there was no physcal wounds just those only felt deep with in a person, a hurt only felt when one's heart is broken in the worse possible way.

Just hours before she had happly told the love of her life she was carrying his child. A child he had conseved, and yet he did not show any signs of beening happy in the least, instead he slowly approached Kagome. "Kagome.It can't be my child...It just can't." He said.

"Inuyasha...trust me it's yours...your the only one I ever...ever..." Kagome said but was cut off by Inuyasha's harsh voice," No, it's not mine because I love Kikyo, not you." He shouted.

Kagome stared at him stunned by what he said," You...you...cheated on me?" Kagome cried.

Inuyasha sighed," I did love you once, but then I found away to made Kikyo whole, and I want to be with her," Inuyasha said.

"But...but...your child, I'm carrying your child, your flesh your blood!" Kagome screamed.

"So you are, What am I to do abuoted it?" He replied harshly.

"Your bastard!" KAgome sobbed.

Just then Kikyo walked up behind Kagome," See I told you, in the end, he would be mine." Kikyo laughed.

Kagome whipped around in time to see Kikyo pulled back on an arrow," You sees, whech, the only way I can have a real body...is if I have the remander of my soul." Kikyo said letting go.

Kagome gasped and drew a powerful sprit barrier. the arrow hit and bounced back and hit Kikyo.

"KIKYO!" Inuyasha shouted rushing over to the corpse," You bitch! You'll pay for harming harmimg her." Inuyasha yelled to Kagome.

"Do what you wish! She desvered it, and you'll get what coming to you!" Kagome said standing up,"SIT BOY!" Inuyasha slammed to the ground with such force he was knocked out.

Kagome stared at the hanyu she pleaded her life to," never again Inuyasha, you low down bastard!" Kagome muttered before running into the hut and grabbing the supplies she need. Then she paused and stared at the sleeping kitsune she had adoupted as her son,' Should I bring him? Would I be risking his life? Or would he be in more danger here?' She thought. She nodded, he would have to stay for now. Kagome knew that Inuyasha would harm the child, it was that damn walking corspe that might do him harm.

She walked over to her child," Shippo..." She whispered," I love you, I promise I'll return for you." She placed a kiss on his head and slipped out the door, both the hanyu and his walking corspe was still out.

"Know this Inuyasha, though it all, it has only been you, my heart belonged to you and only you." She paused. "And Kikyo, hurt my kitsune and you will die." With that she left the place that had been her home since 11 years ago. She slowly walked with no destantion in mind, just to get away as fast has she could.

Sesshomaru was patroling his lands when a couirous smell reahed his nose. A woman with child.

'Hmmmmmm. Smells like the hanyu's werch, his alive one anyway.' He thought as he walked closer to the spot.

She was crying. All of the sudden she sat up! "Oh no!" she said with her head shooting around. "It's too soon! I can't protect myself!" She cried.

Just the Sesshomaru watched as his half-brother appeared and shouted," You bitch! I'm not through with you yet!" Then his other werch appeared.

"Sorry girl, but I can sense you all washed up, no more power to spare and not a soul to save you or that bastard your carrying." She said.

Inuyasha drew Tetsusaige. "Now you die."

Sesshomaru watch,' How strange! That girl is carrying his child and he's trying to kill her!'

Kagome let out a sob, "God forgive me for mated with him, may my passage be quick. If it is in your will, save Shippo please." She said as Tersusaige drew closer.

Oddly enought the final blow was never delt. Kagome opened her eyes, of all the angles in heaven, gods sends Inuyasha's half-brother...Sesshomaru.

"Se-ssho-maru?" KAgome said shocked.

"Hush, werch!" He snapped. "Brother, I'm surprised at you, trying to kill your own mate?" Sesshomaru yelled.

"This is none of your business, she is mine and mine alone!" Inuyasha shouted.

"To hell with your mating, if you've noticed her marking are gone! Old laws proclaim that if one tries to kill their mate, their mating is trimated , I entrust that you and your dead bitch will leave my lands!" Sesshomaru shouted.

Inuyasha glaced at Kagomes neck, indeed his bite marks were gone, the he lifted his hand to her marks on his neck, they were gone too. They were no longer mated, although he still required her life to revive his first love, Kikyo.

"I will return for her Sesshomaru, mark my words, if that child is truly mine, I will come for it." With thaat he grabbed Kikyo and disappered.

"Bastard! She called my child a bastard!" Kagome said.

"You werch!" Sesshomaru snapped.

She turned and glared at him," What do you want!" She snapped.

"Watch your mouth! Is it ture you bare my nephew." He asked.

"Yes, it is, and if I recall correctly, the heir to your lands as well." KAgome said smuggly.

"Come on, you may stay at my palace until the child is born." Sesshomaru said walking over and lifting the woman off the ground.

"Oh and Sesshomaru." Kagome said. Sesshomaru looked at her," Thank you."

Such a weird effect two simple words can have on a person, enough to where a wound was healed and a bond was formed.
