A princess is born

Chapter One: A princess is born

The sun arise's and the town villager's of Japan awake. Everyone was excited to see the new born baby. To day was the annocement of the gender. Though her father, is a cat demon and the mother is a miko, the town still respectfully bowed thier heads to them. They also dont treat the villager's as just commoner's they help if needed and try to set things just right so everyone can be happy. As for thier new baby, everyone was excited. The villager's bought neatly wrapped gift's, or basket's filled with friuts or vegetables. Some even gave there prized possesion, but most borught toys. A special day it was for them.

While the villagers walked to the castle, men were betting of the gender and the woman were talking about ' If it's a girl. She would come out a true beauty like her mother'. Children were excited as well. The girl wanted a princess, but the boys wanted a prince. " A princess would actually be lovely" said the little boy Myroku. " And why is the Myroku" asked the little girl Sango. " Be cause when she" emphasizing the word she " and me turn the appropriate age, ahe shall choose me as her prince" Sango looked at him, then turned away.

When the crowd of villagers got to the gates. The tow demon guards opened them with haste to not waste anytime. Then the palace doors opened.

The first sight they saw inside was the king, queen sitting on the throne and the baby in a beautifully carved cradle. The children were gasping, children were not regularly allowed in the palce, unless in an emergency but for this occassion that rule was dropped for today and tommrow. The villagers separated in each side to clear the pathway. The king rose up ready. Welcome all and thank you for coming, me and my wife are all glad you came" the queen then picked up the baby in a silky whit blanket " we know you've been waiting anxiously for the gender of your future ruler" the king looked at his wife, then at his baby. He gently took the fragile baby from Rumiko. " The gender of your future ruler is a girl" he held her up high so everyone can see her." Her name is Kagome

Everyone cheered and jumped. A new princess had arrived. Kamlyn then looked at his beautiful wife Rumiko, he gave Kagome back to his wife and sat down. A small child went to her majesty " My king here is something for the princess Kagome" Kamlyn accepted her gift and gave her a blessing. When he opened it it was the cutest cat doll. It was white with brown and black on it. " That is my most prized possesion I was willing to give to my princess. I called him yoyo" kamlyn looked at the doll then at the girl, the girl then ran back smiling. Kamlyn gave the doll to his daughter and she held onto it as if it had her life onit.

Otther people gave thier gifts. When they were done Kamlyn rose up and thanked everyone for thier gifts. Everyone was about when a light from above came and three ladies cam down. They stopped infront of Kamlyn and Rumiko and bowed.

"Hello your majesty's" said the three girls together.

" Who are you"kamlyn asked.

" I am the youngest Hoshiko" said the one in the gold kimono, it had little stars on it.

" I am the second youngest Haruko" said the one with a sort of orangered color kimono, it was decorated with little tree leaves blowing.

" I am the oldest Yumiko" she was wearing a black kimono with silver arrows on it.

Just when they were about to say something the palace door opened and in came Queen Mina and King Naoko from the west, with thier son's prince Sesshomaru and prince InuYasha.

Kamlyn and Rumiko greeted thier old friends.

Naoko and Mina gave Rumiko thier present for Kagome, they said they'll open it later and put it beside the cradle".

Sesshomaru and InuYasha went to see the baby while thier parents were talking about 'grown uo stuff'. " Awwww, she looks soo cute" said InuYasha. Sesshomaru though scrunched his eyebrows together and wlaked back to his father while InuYasha stayed with Kagome.

" Excuse me King Kamlyn" said Yumiko," but we would like to give Kagome our gifts".

" But who exactly are you three girls".

" We were sent from our Kami to watch help watch over your baby. Our Kami say's she may be in danger but, we dont know what it is" said Hoshiko.

" Well dont worry nothing will happen to her that were here. These gifts may help her" Kamlyn and Rumiko looked at Kagome and put her back into the cradle.

" My first gift is the gift of archery, to protect herself and be the best" Yumiko put both her hands onto Kagome's hands, whispered a smal spell and a white light shined on Kagome. Kagome laughed and kicked.

"My second gift is the gift of voice a beautiful voice for a beautiful baby" Haruko put her left hand on Kagomes throat and her right hand on her throat. She chanted a small spelll and an orange light came to her throat.

" My last gift is the gift of--------" just as Hoshiko was about to give Kagome her gift when a huge wind came out of no where. A small snake-like dragon stood in the center. A woman stood where the dragon was.

" Kaguya!!!!" said the girls together. They blocked the baby from her view and gave her angry glares.

So this is the girl" suddenly she was behind the crate holding the baby.

" Give me back my baby!!!!!!!!!!!" Rumiko sayed with streaming out her eyes.

" This girl, she shall die the day she touches the tip of a sword" the woman is suddenly back to the center" not just any sword the sword of a fang, a dragons fang" she then laughed an evil sisister laugh and dissappered. Kagome was back to her cradle again crying. " Rumiko picked her up and held her tight. While Mina and Naoko was escorting everyone out.
