Chapter 01: All wishes have to be told.

Her live sucked! She fell out of love with one brother just to fall the other one. And she fell hard. Maybe that was a understatment. But how could she judge? She had loved Inu Yasha, it had been like a crush, but being close to him made her feel cared for, understood, content and being special. She was special, she knew that, but he didn't care at all. He never cared for Kikyou, she had explained the whole situation to him, he simply told her to forget the corpse and start living for herself.

He told her, she had to smile at that. Who would have thought that he could be such an interessting conversionalist? She didn't, she stumbeled across him after sitting Inu Yasha for being an ass and running away, to learn. Inu Yasha had said that Sesshoumaru was around, but she had ignored it, after all he could have killed her many times. She came to a flower field where a girl was busy, after calling the girl that seemed awfully familiar to her and reciving some flowers and the remark that it was save here she started wo learn.

She broke from her contration when a huge face slipped beween her maths book and her eyes, the dragon was Sesshoumarus, she realized why the girl seemed so familiar. She turned to pack her things and saw him sitting there studying her history book. That was when she got scared, and confused when he looked up from his lecture, at her, and went back to reading. Rin had finished petting the second head of the dragon and went to Kagome to ask her if she wanted to stay for dinner. Wanting her book back and not being able to gather the courage to ask, she accepted and hoped he would be finished by dinner. Jaken had kept cursing until Ah-Uh, the dragon as Kagome was told by Rin, bopped him over the head and sent him into unconsciousness. Sesshoumaru returned her book right after and told her where her camp was. As she left Rin gave her a small bouket of flowers and waved her. That was her first peaceful accounter of many.

She grew acustomed to having Sesshoumaru around. At times when she came early he would watch her and Rin would give her flowers, the flowers alsways confused the hell out of Inu Yasha and the others. then one time she took Shippou with her when she had the feeling Sesshoumaru was around, as usually she had told Inu Yasha that she would be save. First they met Rin, that was usual, Shippou imeadetly took a liking to her just wondering why there was a familiar smell on her. Sesshoumaru appeared right after that and Kagome gave him a book, he lifted an eyebrow when she told him that it was his to keep, it was an old school book from her. That was when they started talking. They had bben both curious about each other. She had a good laugh when he told her how wrong parts of her history book were. That was when Shippou came running, screaming about Sesshoumaru's dragon coming and the killer being close. The look on Shippous face had been priceless when he saw the killer sitting next to his mother and holding a book in his hands looking behind him. While he debated wether to bolt or defend Kagome, Rin passed him strugling to keep the dragon following her orders. Jaken was clinging to to the dragons tail and trying not to take a flight across the clearing, it didn't work.

Shippou quickly got acustomed to Rin and Sesshoumaru, I learned that he even visited them at times when I was away and they were close. It all change when we killed Naraku. Kagura and Kanna kept hanging around, first with Sesshoumaru, I knew he tolerated them, Kanna probably even amused him. Her ability to show far of things was quiete practical. Kagome never found out why he only used it to watch Rin. Their last accounter with Kikyou was interessting, She told Inu Yasha to stop acting like a love sick puppy and get a life of his own. Next she fell apart and Kagome had her soul back. Kouga still came around and once made a stupid comment about Rin, the dead should stay dead but comparing Rin to a corpse got him a beating from Sesshoumaru. Inu Yasha fo once agreed with Sesshoumaru. Kagura switched to the Inu-tachi, you could hear her and Inu bickering from far. needless to saw that shippou started to pick up things and felt frightend about turning into a insensitive baka like Inu Yasha. Shippou stayed more with rin and sesshoumaru afterwards, it did him some good and Kagome was sure she saw him get Kanna smile. Often when Kagome war in the past on a evening she would meet sesshoumaru and they would talk. Like the time when he came into the onsen she was in. It was then that she realized that he had a body that many would kill for.

Somewhere along the lines she fell in love with him, she felt sad and content. Knowing your love was impossible, could do that to you, at the age of 17 and a half Kagome decided to go home with the complete Shikon no Tama and leave the past. They had all been there at her parting feast, except for Kanna, rin and Sesshoumaru, that had hurt. It was fun, Kouga kept on talking about, and trying, to make her his. Kagura had caought Inu Yasha and was busy rubbing his ears. Ayame was slowly inching torwards Kohaku, he was confused and was blushing each time she looked his way. Shippou was playing with Kiara. Later Kagome left them, and that was when she met him, and where this story really starts.

"Why are you here?" Kagome asked the yokai in front of her. "I read in your books that even in your time it is usual to give parting gifts before a long yourney." came the soft reply.

Kagome had never found out how a emotionless voice could be so sensual. And it was only his voice, the few times there had been contact between them, she always had had to concentrate not to be reduced to a puddle of goo. It always made her wonder what it would be like to do more than just brush his hand. The kisses would make her pass out, she was sure. Too bad she wouldnever have the chance to find out. "Yes I am leaving. Kouga surrendered his shards and Naraku is dead, the Shikon no Tama is finally whole once more." Kagome worked hard to keep her voice from breaking.

Sesshoumaru stepped aside and Rin came forward to give Kagome a flower necklace, "Rin made this, these flowers will never wither and Sesshoumaru gave a few hairs so it wouldn't fall apart."

Kagome felt tears running over her face, she bowed and accepted the gift. Kanna was next, she didn't know how but Kanna had made a picture insade a crystall plate. KAgome in the Middle, with Shippou in her lap, Kiara on Sango's shoulder next to her. Miroku was grouping Sango and smiling like an idiot. Inu Yasha with Kagura were behind her. off to the side Kohaku, Kouga and Ayame. on the ofther side a bit appart was Sesshoumaru, his hand was resting on Rins head. Rin was holding kannas hand and Ah-Uh had Jaken picked up by the scruff and it was easy to realize that Jaken was jelling. She laughed, then did something that probably got more emotion out of Kanna than anyone ever did before. She embraced the little yokai, Kanna stiffed at first but relaxed soon and returned the embrace. When they relaxed and drew apart Kagome was shocked to see the tear that Kanna picked from her own face. The look Kanna gave the tear was one of pure curiosity.

Sesshoumaru gave Kagome a Kimono, one that reminded her of his. And a scroll. "Read it in a week from now in your era." he told her. There seemed to be more, Kagome saw it in his eyes but there was no hesitation when he stepped back. Kagome stepped back and knew it was time, time to leave and forget. she blinked when she saw Kiara on Sesshoumaru's left shoulder and Shippou on his right. Kanna stood beside him and rin cluthed his leg. Jaken gave her a look and threw her something. She cought it and saw it to be a piece of carved wood on a leather band. "Good luck women!" Jaken told her.

"Argatou, all of you." Kagome smiled whlile her tears ran freely. It wasn't fair, having to decide, she loved them all. She had her heart here. But her family was there. and she couldn't let them alone.

Kagome turned and jumped into the well, and made contakt with the grond. She punded the ground. The group had dispersed, but Kanna and sesshoumaru were the first ones to realize that something went wrong, very, very wrong.

The saw Kagome klimb out of the weel. The neclace of the Shikon no Tama in her hand. "Why? Why? Why can't I leave? All I wanted was to be happy, I wanted for all those I love to be happy, for the one I love to be happy." Kagome cried and looked torwards Sesshoumaru. "I wish I was a emotionless yokai like you, umfeeling and being able to wath all those around me being happy. Shippou having a mother, Rin being your daughter, me being able to be with you, you having both arms." Kagome broke down.

Sesshoumaru had know, her love was obvious, but he decided against it, it was to early, it would tear her heart not being able to see her family. So he had decided against it. Watching Kagome break donwn with his letter in one hand and the Shikon no Tama in the other one really made him wonder if he did the right thing.

A bright pink light was his answer, the tingling that told him his arm regenerated definetly told him something was wrong. Hearing Rin say "Why does Rin have a tail now?" was enough to make him lot at his daughter, he always had seen her as this, and look at a inu-taiyokai pup with black hair, a few silver strands, the youkai ears, a black tail wit a silver tipp and deep brown eyes. Right know Rin was busy patting her new tail and searching for more changes, her scent being partly his, the fangs and the crescent moon on her brow were the most obvious changes. Sesshoumaru turned towards Kagome having a very bad feeling. It was KAgome layng there passed out, but a very different Kagome, an inu-taiyoukai-bitch. He didn't have to look to know that the changes were the same ones as with rin. He quickly gathered her things and handed them to Kanna and Jaken who put them on Ah-Uh's back. When he picked her up he realized she was powerful, as powerful as him. Her facial markings were identical to his, with a colour variation and without the moon.

Sesshoumaru wondered how the girl always managed to make things twist in a almost impoosible way. "Kiara, tell the others Shippou is staying with this Sesshoumaru. this Sesshoumaru will tell the others of this situation once it is known what exactly happened.. Sesshoumaru paused. "Her wish was granted, but this Sesshoumaru wants to know what else transpired before informing Inu Yasha and the others."

The little cat nodded and went to the village, Sesshoumaru and the others went for the castle. "So you once again managed to surprise us all." the taiyokai grinned, life was never boring with her.
