"Oh..."
Picture information
Description:
Kagome walks into the art gala, impeccably dressed in a deep blue dress that has no back and a heart shaped top, yet clings to her form in a tasteful manner. As she walks around looking at the many different pieces she turns her head in time to catch someone else eyeing her.
"Oh and who can that be?" She mumbles softly to herself as she begins to turn and face the tall stranger who walks over to her.
Upon reaching her he offers his hand, and being polite she takes it.
"I couldn't help but notice that you were alone tonight while everyone else here has a date of some sort." He stated one eye brow raised elegantly as he raised her hand and placed a light kiss upon her knuckles.
With out missing a beat she replied easily
"And yet you are also alone?"
"Indeed, would you take offense if I was so bold as to offer you my arm this night?"
"That depends..." She trailed off lightly slowly walking over to another painting near by.
"On?"
"Your name, you have yet to offer it, I can't possibly accompany a nameless stranger, now can I?"
"Indeed, taisho, Sesshomaru taisho."
"Nice to meet you taisho-san, my name is Higurashi Kagome." Said Kagome as she placed her hand upon his arm. "Now tell me what you think about Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte or as it is called in french "Un dimanche après-midi à l’Ile de la Grande Jatte" by Georges Seurat?
"Ah his manifesto painting, well the fact that he used the pointillism method shows the attention to detail and the paintstackingly minute aspects of colour that he incorporates into his work. How do you feel about it?"
"Wow, well, I feel he had to much time on his hands frankly." Chuckled Kagome as she met Sesshomaru's mirth filled eyes.
"I concur." He rumbled softly smirk in place. " this seems like it shall be an interesting night."
"Indeed." Said Kagome eyebrow raised in mock of his earlier mannerisms causing Sesshomaru to chuckle softly.
"I like your laugh, I plan on hearing it all throughout this night."
"Is that so?"
"Quite!" Said Kagome cheerfully as they walked off to view the next painting in the gala, Sesshomaru stating a small comment on the use of technique while Kagome used witty satirical remarks to poke fun at not only the artist but the object they were "appreciating" as well
