I just finished this story yesterday but I started working on this piece around the time I first started reading it.
I absolutely love the way Drosselmeyer touches on reality within the story. Relationships aren't always perfect. There are going to be good moments, bad moments, awkward moments, sad moments, hurtful moments, and Drosselmeyer touched on them all. They kept it real. There were moments I cried and moments I cracked up. I appreciate that Sess and Kag's relationship, in this story, was relatable. There was no sugarcoating.
