The Perfect Way to Ring In the New Year with GM Prompts for 2013

Prompt: Enraged

Somewhere in the heavens, a god was angry, no enraged as his previously chosen priestess Kaede was beaten, raped, and slaughtered in the dead of night during a new moon, her blood splattered everywhere in his main temple. By who, no one was certain but he, Sesshomaru, God of the Moon, would get to the bottom of it. The priestess' murderers committed this crime on his time of rest. Inuyasha, God of the Sun and his twin, had seen and heard the culprits discuss what they had done. It turned out that they had done this under the direct orders of Lord Higurashi, who apparently worshipped another god, the god Naraku. With a smirk, Inuyasha gave Sesshomaru this piece of advice. "This calls for a sacrifice on Higurashi's part. An eye for an eye, perhaps a priestess for a priestess. His daughter Kagome to be exact."

"Hn."

"Don't 'hn' me. Kagome has been trained to be a priestess by Kaede herself under Lord Higurashi's nose. Someone loyal to him found out and reported it to him. Only with the sacrifice of his daughter may you have your vengeance. Why don't I let Kouga take care of Kaede's killers? After all, he's been aching for a good hunt."

"Hn. Very well. Be prepared, Lord Higurashi. Your daughter will be mine tonight."
