All Was Lost

"INUYASHA!"

Kagome was knocked backwards from the force of the explosion. 'I can't give up now!'

She grunted and turned over onto her stomach, ignoring the bleeding wound on her side. She kneeled on one knee and drawed her bow, an arrow in her hands.

'Hit the mark!'

Her reiki charged arrow shot toward the boar-youkai, doging trees and other obsticals. The boar let out roar as it the arrow hit his chest, the purity burning him from the inside out. It fell fowards, leaving dirt rising in the air.

'Inuyasha.' She thought in releaf as she saw the hanyou standing behind the fallen body of the boar.

"Inuyasha!" She called out. Blood thirsty red eyes met her dark blue ones.

He snarled and sprinted towards her, claws flexed and ready to kill.

Blood splashed the ground between them.
