Prompt One: Cheat

Prompt: Cheat

Word Count: The story is exactly 200 words not including the author’s note.

Nineteen year old Kagome Higurashi walked into the house she shared with her twenty year old fiancé Inuyasha Taisho. “Honey, I’m home!” Kagome called as she closed the door and set her keys down. Walking down the hall, she heard moaning coming from inside their bedroom, she rushed in thinking Inuyasha was hurt.

She stopped dead in her tracks. There, right in front of her, on their bed, Inuyasha was making out with her older sister Kikyo.

She dropped her briefcase, “Inu…yasha.”  She ran from the room crying.

Once outside she pulled out her phone and called the one person she knew would drop everything for her.

“Hello?” Called a deep baritone.

“S- Sesshomaru?” Kagome whimpered.

“Kagome? What’s wrong?” The voice grew urgent.

“Your brother Inu- Inuyasha is a cheating- cheating bastard!” Kagome sobbed into the phone.

“Where are you?” He asked.

“Outside.” Kagome whispered.

“Meet me at Café La’ Brew” Sesshomaru told her.

“Okay, Sesshomaru, I’m sorry.” Kagome cried into the phone as she hugged herself. 

“Don’t be, just meet me at the café.”

“O- okay.” Kagome cried, “Inuyasha, you cheating bastard.” Kagome sobbed to herself. 

She looked up at the sky, the moon was crescent and beautiful.

“Sesshomaru.”
