how it started

Pushing her last book into her bag she lifted it to her shoulder and made her way out of her class and on her way home. She knew she had to be back on the other side of the well before inuyasha had a coniption fit but she could really use a long nip.

It took almost all her power to get him to let her go this time, because she had made the mistake and told him she would be gone for a month(that soothed things over) he went bulistic, but after all the ugly words were said and he was sat into a hole that would have made the Grand Canyon proud she made a bee line for the well, and took the rousery with her so he coulden't follow.

She was not trying to hide she just wanted to take a really long break, not to mention the long list she had planned for herself, that's the main reason she had left for so long. There was so much for her to do in her own time first.

She had to make up all the classes she had missed, and then get a job so she could help pay to have the main shrine house rebuilt, because it burned down, then taking care of the shrine because her mom had to get a job to and, grandpa was sick so he coulden't do it.

She had to make sure souta got all his homework done, and make sure he got feed, and into bed on time, and so many other things.

These throught's ran through her head as she walked up the shrine steps. "Oh Inuyasha is going to freak when he finds out that I have to stay a little longer, just un-tell the building is re built, which will take about a week" She spoke to herself.

Looking up from her feet she saw her mother walking down to her, and she gave her a small smile.

"Kagome go take a shower and a nape before you head back to the well. I have to go to work" her mother said to her.

" I desided to stay until the building is rebuilt" Kagome replid. Her mother was about to protest when kagome cut her off "Besides you need the money that im bringing in and what about Souta"

"Kagome, I am makeing enough money to pay for the buildeing and your grandfather gets hes insurance check tomarrow, Souta is going to stay with a friend until I can quit my gob, after the building is payed for , besides you have a very important job to do and the sooner you get that job done the sooner you can spend your time with us, but... you will not get that job done if you stay here! Now i have to go to work, I want you to be gone when I get home." She said with a smile and kissed Kagome on the cheek.

Kagome waved goodbye with a huff and contined up the staires. She knew her mother was right, but the real reason she wanted to stay was because she didn't want to face Inuyasha.

Now she did miss Songo and Shippo a lot so maybe she could handle it for them. Hell she even missed that monk."OK! shower, pack, nap, and the well" she said to her self.

"How the hell do i get into the messes" Kagome whined to herself. She had just crawled out of the well and the next thing she knew she was hanging in a net above the well.

She closed her eyes to try to think of a way out , when she felt something lick her leg. "Weired I throught I was alone." She opened her eye and looked down "AHHHHHHHHHH."

It had to be the ugliest, cutiset, furriest, most weiredist thing she had ever seen. It looked to be some kind of cat. It was really fluffy, but so small it could fit in her hand, its fur was a pink color with green strips, it looked kinda like a cross between kirara and a pink and green tiger. She just coulden't help but love it.

The Elders where at it again. They demande he fine his soul mate or they would force him to mate a female of they'er choice, and he would not have that, so just to make them happy he started to look around. He did not put a lot of attintion into it and the Elders seemed to notice this. They seem to notice alot. The fuckers even know who, when, where, and how his latest rutting went.

"They need there own fucking lives." Sesshoumaru throught to himself. Well..... now the Elders where helping him find a mate. They gave him a map of the northern lands and told him to fine the Orical, and that it would find his soul mate for him, but the hard part was they only gave him a month and he had two days left.

He had found the blasted thing, but he did not excpect it to be so! Whatever the hell it is. He did not mind the dame thing as long as it did not rub up on him.

It reminded him of a cat, he HATES CATS but "What one must do he must do right." He asked himself. The rabbit demoness that gave him the runt told him that in order to get the blasted thing to find his soul mate was to love, and care for it.

Well he didnt love the dame thing, but he made sure it was feed, and let Rin play with it. It seemed it had worked, because the runt had taken off for three days and them showed back up to take him to his supposed soul mate.

the little cat creature had run off and now kagome was hanging there wondering when Inuyasha would show up , or if he would show up before who ever it was that set up the trap that she was in. "Where is Inuyasha anyway its not like him to not be here when I come back" but right after she said that she heard some one walk into the clearing. So she sat up and looked in that direction.

Sesshoumaru could not beleave what he was seeing."You mean to tell me that, that thing is to be my mate" he said disbeleavingly to himself when he saw kagome hanging in a net over a well.

Had it not been for the little runt purcheing itself on the lip of the well looking quite pleased with its handy work, he would have thought that they where just passing by, but alas they were not.

If he had been anyone else he would have laughed but alas he was not just anyone else he was the killing perfection and the killing perfection did not see anything funny with the situation.

"You cant expect me to mate that thing" he growled at the runt.

Kagome was torn between wanting to laugh until her passed out from lack of oxygen and wanting to scream until she died of a heart attack. A thousand thing must have run through her head but as soon as she heard him say something about mating, her mind went blank.

She knew what that ment and it ment trouble. She heard him huff, and then he started walking her way and she panicked. She started to thrash and scream and pull on the net, trying with all her might to get loose before he got to her.

"Oh kami im going to die, hes going to kill me, Inuyasha where are you."

She yelled in her heard..... well she thought she had said it in her head until she saw him freeze out of the corner of her eyes. "Oh kami"

Sesshoumaru was not one to lie to himself he knew he was interested in the little miko, but only interested. He had no idea that those interests would go deeper, but he would think on that later.

" I cant just leave her here. it is kinda, my failt she's even up there." He thought to himself as he started to walk to her.

Intent on cutting her from the net and taking her home with him. That is until she stated to freake out. The screaming hurt his ears alot and he started to growl until he heard her scream for Inuyasha.

"Does she not know, I really dont want to be the one to tell her, and about her kit, wait why the hell is she yelling for him..... im to be her mate,..... but she dosent know this ,...... but still it pisses me off,.....is she ...i think she afraid of me." He thought to himself.

"Well we cant have that." He said out loud "silence" he growled which only served to scare her more, and she started to thrash again. He was starting to get really irritated so in a flash he had her out of the net and struggling in his arms.

If he had know that she would be this much trouble he would have left her up there. Now her screams were intensified, and her struggiling begain anew. The only way he could think to shut her up was to knock her out..... and the only way he could think to knock her out was by blunt pain.

So he wrapped one arm around her chest so that her armes where pined by the upper arm, then he reached his other hand down to her thigh and sank his claws in as deep as he could with out touching bone and pulled up to her hip. She was out like a light.

That will be a really bad scare when it heals but he didn't think of that at the time."Oh well.... as long as it was me that made the scare" he said to himself.

He was going to have to keep in mind that she was a ningen. she gets hurt easier, and dosent heal like he does." This is going to be rather difficult" he said to the night sky.
