Judge, Jury, Executioner

Before the story begins I would like to say this story is completely unbetaed. I write a lot and I write very fast so my poor beta is already overloaded from that, I'm not gonna make her do this too. So please forgive all spelling and grammar errors and try to enjoy it anyway!

“Has the jury reached its verdict?” The judge, a tubby, balding man of about sixty, asked the speaker for said jury.

“We have your honor.” The woman replied. She was wearing a hideous, low-cut, chartreuse top, and as she spoke to the judge, she made a great show of folding her arms underneath her generous breasts, to push them higher.

How vulgar, Sesshomaru though and he looked away as she handed an envelope to the man seated at the head of the courtroom.

“Would the defendant rise for the sentencing.” And while the judge phrased it as a request, it was clearly a command.

Sesshomaru and the short, dark-haired attorney beside him rose to their feet.

“On the count of murder in a youkai honor battle, the court finds you guilty.” The man at his side seemed to wilt and deflate at the news. “The court hereby sentences you, Sesshomaru Taisho, to psychiatric therapy for a minimum of six months or until your therapist declares you stable.” The judge banged his gavel on the stand, and that was that.

His lawyer attempted to console him as they left the courtroom, but after Sesshomaru growled a warning, the man fell silent.

Prompt: #85. Chartreuse

Words: 200

This is an experimental fic; I’m going to write this in drabbles and short one-shots, which is something that I have never attempted before. The prompts will be coming from the 100colors community over on livejournal.

Please read and review; your reviews inspire me and make me want to write more!

Love,

R.M. Avalon
