Sesshomaru had never felt so beaten before nor had he ever felt so cold and alone. The dog demon had found his way to the safety of a cave away for his tormentor and pursuer beaten and bruised which told the story of his recent troubles. He doubted his pursuer was still fallowing he had done already what he had set out to do. That gave Sesshomaru enough confidence to slightly relax his body leaning his throbbing head against the cool walls of the cave closing his eyes tightly he willed his body to stop hurting as he recalled the events that had lead to his current pathetic state. He felt so out of charcter at that moment that if he had the strength he would go slaugrter a whold human village. His hands clenched, he hated human so much.

His thoughts were cut short by an intense burning that took over his whole body and made him drop to his side in pure pain. He bit his lip to keep the painful scream his body wanted so badly to release. He couldn't scream he just couldn't, if he let it escape his position would be discovered to what he was aware was searching for him. It was a pointless thought, last efforts of the desperate. He was aware it did not matter if he screamed, because the very pain that created the scream was created by the closeness of his tormentor. They we're getting closer.

When his body was yanked ruffly from the cave's floor and pinned to the very wall he had rested on to stare into the eyes of his tormentor. He growled angrily as he thrashed pointlessly against the hand that held him down. His body no longer as strong as it once had been only 3 weeks before. He felt as weak as a new born pup, and he was now.

The red tinted eyes that stared into his with icy indifference brought a weird feeling of betrayal into Sesshomaru's mind.

"Why must you run brother?" Inuyasha spoke quietly his voice low and dangerous. "You can't run from her just listen to her."

Inuyasha the silly half demon turned full demon thought he could handle Sesshomaru, which at the moment he was doing a good job at, Sesshomaru lashed out at him in pure anger, trying to summon any strength left inside him to fight away his stupid half brother before the real threat arrived. Yet his efforts were for not as soon as he felt demonic engery returning to his body it was zaped away once again by the tatoo that burned his neck. This fellow demon once his brother and alley that had helped defeat Naraku only 2 months ago, but now was hunting him down like he was Naraku. All because of the dissapearance of that silly miko during the battle, drove Inuyasha crazy with rage and finsihed Naraku. Then the boy had gone missing for 1 month returning in the company of a human women full demon who ordered him to come to her side. Of course Sesshomaru at that time had thought it slightly amusing that the small human women had dared order him around. It had only bothered him that his brother had gone threw turning into a demon yet still seemed to be in his right state of mind.

The burning sensation running threw Sesshomaru's body grew stronger and he couldn't help look at the mouth of the cave as a women made her way inside.

A twisted, but pretty smile graced her bright red lips as she watched the scene before her. Her face was as pale as milk her hair as dark as night, her eyes as blue as the sky. Beautiful was an understatement for this women but even so something about her eyes told you something else. Besides her obvious difference looks then the miko who fallowed Inuyasha, something about her reminded Sesshomaru of the missing miko which he was sure was the reason Inuyasha fallowed her around.

"Thank you Inuyasha, you can release him now." Her voice was soft and filled with poisonous sweetness.

At her words Sesshomaru body was released and he crumbled to the ground face first were he remained into he felt a small foot on his back.

"Did you think you could get away Sesshomaru?" She spoke pressing her foot into his back deeper.

Sesshomaru moved his head to the side for he could see her and gave her the best glare he could give the situation. The women was unfazed by his glare, but what angered her was his lack of response.

Sesshomaru found himself once again pinned to the cave's wall this time by the small women that didn't look like she could do such a thing.

"When I lower myself Sesshomaru, to ask you a question it would be in your best interest to answer." The hold on his neck tightened so much that Sesshomaru found his vision darkening. Just when he thought he would be blessed to be captured by the darkness the hold on his neck lessened.

Sesshomaru just watched the women with hazy eyes, this human women was beating him up. Such disgrace and shame he felt at being at the mercy of a human female, he had no idea what kind of power she possessed but he want to kill her. It wasn't the first time in the short 3 weeks he had been captured by the women. He felt his eyes bleed red, but was aware he needed to calm down trying to turn into his full form would only back fire on him. Something he had learned first hand.

The hold on his neck once again tightened, "What is it Sesshomaru, getting angry?"

"You will suffer for what you have caused me!" He said through the hold on his neck expecting if not the hold on his neck tightening, then a good blow that would send him to darkness, but yet he was released. This time he slid to his butt to look up at his tormentor.

"You will regret your words later, but for now we must return to the castle." The women turned to look at Inuyasha. "Isn't that right Inuyasha?"

The demon nodded feeling bad for his brother but, all he had to do was not be so stubborn. He turned heading towards the mouth of the cave disappearing into the night beyond it.

The women fallowed but lingered at the mouth of the cave, "Come Sesshomaru don't make your punishment worse then it already is." With that she turned disappearing.

Sesshomaru slowly stood swaying dangerously he glared after the women wanting to cures at her and scream for even thinking he would come on his own. Yet soon he found himself fallowing after the women his revenge would have to come at a later date when he could actually have a chance.

Inuyasha watched as the human women Makio sat behind Sesshomaru's desk as if she belonged there. The very thought enraged as much as it satisfied him, from young he had never been allowed in the castle of his brother, but now here he stood. The women Makio now the owner of the castle while his brother sat in the dungeons being punished. He had no idea why the women was doing this, but he really didn't care. She had made him full demon and had promised to help him reach Kagome. He had met her when he was wondering aimlessly after the defeat of Naraku searching for Kagome when he didn't even have a clue why she had dissapeared. He had even went threw the well wondering did she somehow get thrown into it, yet she was not there.

Inuyasha saw this women as a great threat although a simple human. She had great power on her side that Inuyasha wondered came from. She was able to turn him demon by a simple drink and bring Sesshomaru to such a weakened state by a simple tattoo. He wondered sometimes was his nose mistaken and this women was no human.

"Tell me Inuyasha who was Naraku?" Makio asked suddenly.

Inuyasha glanced at the human female before looking away once again to stare out of the window of the room. Sliding his arms into the dark blue sleeves of his new fire rat, which was a present form Makio for joining her, she had said it was very rare.

"It no longer matters just a filthy bastard that tried something very foolish." Inuyasha answered annoyed with the question.

"A half demon?" Makio said thoughtfully. "A demon and a human, what a vile combination." She turned to look at Inuyasha. "I see now why you wanted to change."

"Did I affend you Inuyasha? ." Makio said a evil smile gracing her red lips.

Without responding Inuyasha exited the room ignoring the laughter that burned his ears.

Sesshomaru pounded a bloody fist into the innocent wall the display of angry. He stopped staring at his bloody hand his anger growing, at the stupidity he was showing. He hated this new side of him. At the sound of the metal door of his room opening his face slide into blank indifference which turned into surprise when seeing the young girl standing at the door behind her stood the human wench he hated.

"Lord Sesshomaru?" The little girl asked in disbelif at seeing her lord with a bloodied hand and striped from his his elegant white clothing which was now replaced with clothing fit for a village begger.

She went to move towards him but froze at the feeling of Makio's hand on her back.

"You hid her well Sesshomaru." Makio spoke running a hand down Rin's hair. "Also that little toad demon gave up such a fight to protect her." At her words Rin sobbed telling Sesshomaru of Jaken's fate.

"You will reg-" Sesshomaru was interrupted.

"Yes you say I will regret one day what I have done to this great Sesshomaru." Makio laughed. "What do you think Rin?" She looked down at the little girl who was shaking from fear.

Rin glanced at Sesshomaru before lowering her eyes to the ground.

"This child Sesshomaru that you tried to taint, said she will do anything to help you. She cried when I found her saying that she would do anything if I let you go." Makio said. "What should I do to her Sesshomaru?"

Sesshomaru began to growl as Makio took the child's neck from behind squeezing tightly causing the child to sherik in pain.

Sesshomaru lunged at her, but he found himself pined to the floor by four demons that had appared. He growled and hissed at the women as his eyes began to bleed red. The darker his eyes bleed the more pain he felt. His whole body burned with more pain then he had ever felt before his whole life, and soon his anger was snuffed out replaced with only burning pain. The sound of Makio's laughter almost brought his anger again, but he controlled his anger.

Soon from his position on the ground with four demons ontop of him he saw Makio approch.

"Don't worry Sesshomaru I wouldn't hurt a human child even if she was almost tainted by you. Though I will show her how to properly act as a human." With that Makio turned leaving the room guiding a crying Rin out with her.

If he wasn't so weak he would find that women who thought this kind of punishment was amusing and take care of her also.

Yet he was weak, because of the women who had placed the power draining tattoo over his neck making him weaker then he had ever been.

Sesshomaru glared at the demons as they went his shame growing greater he pounded his already hurt fist into the ground. He couldn't even protect his own ward.

"This Sesshomaru will get his revenge." He said softly to himself.

The sound of the cell door opening made Sesshomaru look up and he weakly glared at Inuyasha as he entered the cell.

His red eyes moving over his brother and the state he was in Inuyasha couldn't help the guilt he felt.

Placeing the tray of meat onto the ground he slid it to Sesshomaru who stared at the tray hunger flashing over his face, but he didn't touch the tray.

Inuyasha huffed, "I went threw alot of trouble to get that for you."

"Take it away, this Sesshomaru needs nothing that is given by you." Sesshomaru turned to look away from the food his stomach growling.

"Why do you have to be so stubborn?" Inuyasha asked. "Don't tell me your not hungry because that tattoo she put on you drains all your powers making you partically human which means you have to eat." Fustrated Inuyasha turned leaving the room.

Sesshomaru watched him leave hating himself at that moment because as soon as the metal door closed he devoured the tray of meat.

Inuyasha ran a hand threw his hair staring at his reflation, it had been awhile his change yet when he looked at himself it still troubled him.

The markings came with the change but the red eyes he always wore was by choice. He felt it wasn't right for him to allow his natural eye color to return not into he found Kagome. That was the whole reason he had became a demon even though he was aware when he found Kagome she wouldn't be happy.

The thought of the girl sitting him from anger for turning into a demon brought a smile to Inuyasha's face.

"Why are you smiling Inuyasha?" Inuyasha had to stop himself from showing disgust as Makio entered the room fallowed by a sad looking Rin. Her new apprentice Makio liked to call her.

"Can I keep that to myself?" Inuyasha said blankly watching as Makio ran a hand over the yellow backpack that sat on the table in his room.

"This belonged to that girl Kagome correct?" Makio asked. Inuyasha only nodded.

A strange smile spread across Makio's face, "We have a guest arriving soon."

Inuyasha took the bag from Makio, "What does that have to do with me?"

"She will be sharing a room with your brother." Makio explained.

Inuyasha shrugged, "She's going to be your prisoner then."

Makio laughed, "Don't say it that way, she'll be here soon and she should be treated with care. You understand what I mean by care don't you Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha nodded holding in his disgust, "I will find someone to do that then."

"I remember when your brother experienced such shame I almost broke him then, but then he ran away and seem to have found some confidence from someplace. We will have to do that again." Makio

Inuyasha hated this bitch so much "I will find someone for that also."

Makio lauged, "I was hoping you would do it Inuyasha." Makio said making Inuyasha turn to look at her.

"You're sick Makio." Inuyasha said in pure disgust.

"Awww one day then Inuyasha?"

The girl covered her face in shame and fear as she shivered in the corner of the room all the servants that passed all whispered how ugly she was they sniggered. Kagome wanted to leave she wanted to go home she wanted Inuyasha. She couldn't remember how she had gotten here all she remembered was the battle with Naraku the waking up here in this room.

The sound of the door opening Kagome expected a servant but instead was greated my a pale dark haird women she hadn't seen before.

"Kagome isn't it?" The women asked. "I'm Makio."

Kagome tried to speak but discovered the words she was saying in her head wouldn't come to here. She opened and closed her mouth trying to produce words, but she couldn't.

Makio laughed, "Do not force yourself Kagome, words can no longer come from you."

Kagome shook her head wanting badly to speak to find out what was going on.

Makio produced a mirror from the wall in the room and walked towards Kagome who quickly tried to get away. She did not want to see her reflation.

"What is it Kagome afraid to see your reflation?" Makio asked frowning.

Kagome backed up into she hit the wall closing her eyes tightly refusing to look at the reflation.

"Open your eyes!" The loud beastly sound made Kagome's eyes fly open to stare at her own reflation she sobbed loudly at the ugly sight.

Her once long dark hair was now replaced with a thin dustier looking version. Her face was now disfigured her skin was now a sickly pale the only thing that remained the same was her eyes.

Makio laughed at Kagome's reaction taking the mirror away setting it on the table.

"I have a surprise for you Kagome." Makio said. "He should be arriving in a few, here he comes" Makio said just as the door to the room opened and a silvered haird demon entered the room.

Inuyasha entered the room slowly not understanding why Makio made him be the one take the guest to the dungeons when anyone could have done that.

He looked at the scene before him indifferently. A girl on the ground sobbing while Makio stood over her smiling as he entered the room.

"Inuyasha meet Suje." Something about Makio's smile set Inuyasha on edge but he was distracted by the girl who had turned around so quickly to stare at him.

He blinked as the girl ran to him hugging him tightly and crying he pushed her away from him the girl falling to the ground.

"What 's up wit her?" Inuyasha asked stunned as the girl took hold to his leg sobbing.

Makio shrugged.

Inuyasha looked down at the girl and she looked up at him and he sucked in his breath at the fimilar eyes the girl had. How they looked at him like they were trying to tell him something. He took a deep sniff determining he was correct this was not who he thought.

He shook the feeling those eyes were giving him away telling himself that this girl was not Kagome no matter what her eyes said.

"Is there anything else Makio?" He looked up at the women who was leaning against the wall.

"No you may take her now." She said.

Inuyasha nodded taking hold of the girl's arm dragging her from the room he wanted away from her as quickly as possible.

"Sesshomaru, Makio brought you a friend." Inuyasha said throwing the girl into the room.

Sesshomaru barely looked up as the girl landed in the room and Inuyasha shut the metal door.

Sesshomaru continued to poke at his bleeding hand angry at how slow he seemed to be healing when that became to boring he finally looked up at the girl who still remained in the middle of the floor sobbing.

"Such a ugly human." He said under his breath but it seemed the girl heard because she turned to look at him her eyes widening.

The girl sat up sliding away from him in fear. It gave him a good feeling being aware that someone was still afraid of him.

"What's your name girl?" Sesshomaru asked.

Kagome stared at Sesshomaru surprised to see him here in such a state made her forget about Inuyasha and her face.

Here was Sesshomaru sitting in the corner of a dirty smelling room with a bleeding hand and a busted lip wearing villager clothing. She blinked mulitple times into she realized it was real.

Kagome pointed to herself and tried to say Kagome but was only met with a annoyed look.

"This Sesshomaru does not speak sign language, speak girl." He ordered.

Kagome shook her head holding onto her thoart.

"Figures the only person that wench would put in the room with me would be a ugly human wench who couldn't speak." Sesshomaru said.

Kagome stared at him in surprise. Those words seemed so un Sesshomaru like but he had said them.

If they hadn't been so insulting she might have laughed.

"Remain looking at me if you want to lose your eye sight along with your voice." Sesshomaru said.

Kagome quickly looked away.
