She wore a red halter dress, admiring her own figure in the mirror. He stood back in the doorway admiring her in turn. He didn’t like her in red; it reminded him of his idiot brother. He’d much prefer her in some other color; or nothing at all.

She turned and smiled. For a moment his heart raced, his careful façade nearly cracked.

 Then he saw who she was really smiling at, that idiot brother of his strolled in grabbing a hold of her.

Sesshomaru turned away it didn’t matter if he didn’t like her in red, she wasn’t his.
