 I don't know if this explains it any but Inukimi could be translated to dog lord/lady -- inu is obviously dog, According to wikipedia kimi means "lord" (archaic) and can be used for both males and females. Today it is informal to subordinates; can also be affectionate; formerly it was very polite.
