Interesting the power of sex. Like, the importance that is placed on purity and how central sex is to that in the mind of many. She could be pure of heart i think and thatwould sspeak for much right? Idk lol maybe that's too progressive for this time period or something. Excited to see what this jewel ends up being destroyed by! 

uh no. And the hits keep on coming. Now Sesshoumaru has double the reason to find another way to get rid of the jewel without Kagome dying...so he can knock boots with Kagome. I wonder if she will tell him or just spurn his affections now if they start going too far.  I wonder if they will take a break before they are off again on the adventure of collecting jewel shards. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Woohoo! He's back!

I didn't think of that consequence... people thinking it's Sesshoumaru starting wars and not Naraku. I guess for some reason I thought he would change his appearance, but this makes more sense. So how does she get him back in his body once she finds it? I doubt that thing comes with instructions.

I'm cautiously relieved that there's still hope. I know I said I was going to wait until the story was done but I couldn't wait any longer! I'm even more anxious to pick up BHC again, but I haven't been able to handle any sort of angst lately. I'm not usually so flaky but this summer has been crazy. Hopefully by the time I catch up here I'll be back to normal again!

I just finished reading from beginning to this vhapter in just a couple days and i haveto say its amazing.  I cant wait for the next chapter. Hope its coming soon. :)

I've just dived into this story and have read it straight through. I like the AU spin with an original flavor to it. Your use of canon characters in new ways was masterfully done. I appreciate that you saved Kagura. She is such a sympathetic character, one forced into heinous acts against her will.

The only thing I don't like is Kagome always playing the victim in taking responsibility for messing up when most of it is actually not her fault. She was kept ignorant every step of the way by Totosai. Then only Ryura acknowledged that she actually tried to do something when the other two present who had much more experience did nothing. InuKimI is still running on the assumption that Kagome is a trained miko.

While fixing problems others caused is admirable, allowing yourself to take the blame for others is not character building. She seems to see herself as a screw up correcting her own mistakes rather than as a heroine pulling others out of the fire. It's frustrating that this is a consistent theme throughout that no one but Ryura acknowledges. These characters don't talk to each other when it comes to her. Is this because, like Harry Potter, she's being set up as a willing sacrificial lamb or is it because no other character has the spine to take responsibility for their own actions or inaction?

Overall I've really enjoyed your story. I look forward to seeing the wrap up. I want to know Ryura can be happy and I'm curious to see your take on the selfless/pure wish.

Yay for the group effort, even though it only took Kagome. Poor Inuyasha though. I hope she didn't get him too bad. I think the chapter turned out just fine. Makes you wonder what will happen next with everybody and everything. I can't wait to see :)
