This was cute and you managed to keep them in character and fitting to the time period despite the clash of cultures :) Good job I thought it was cute and a nice read :)
| I LOVE it! It was simply marvelous! Brava my dear! This is a masterpiece.     It is original, witty, romantic, and adventurous.  Very well done! I look forward to reading more of your works.   ~Sandreline
 | Very cute! Good job!

Toni (Chapter 1) - Mon 19 Mar 2012 | I loved this! Plz make more chapters or a sequel!

Diane (Chapter 1) - Mon 19 Mar 2012 | I really liked it overall. Umm a corsage is a spray of flowers worn on the wrist or as a broach, do you mean corset? As in an old fashioned bra slash torture device for women that went from chest to hips?

phizz (Chapter 1) - Mon 19 Mar 2012 | I really like your story.  It is well-written, especially for someone who doesn't usually write period pieces.  Just one correction though: When you used "corsage" at the beginning, you meant "corset."  A corsage is a small flower arrangement that a boy gives a girl to wear at prom, either pinned to her dress or worn around her wrist.  A corset is the undergarment/torture device used to cinch in the waist, often lauded for giving abject discomfort to women in pursuit of fashion.

amy (Chapter 1) - Mon 19 Mar 2012 | Wonderful story, I love it, I hope you will tell us what happens at some later time, this story  is too good to be open ended!
 | Aww man I just realized this is a one shot. I would have loved to see  this continued. Ideas of what could have happened are running through my head. Sigh. If you would not mind me maybe continuing this, I would like to.
