This is the most heartbreaking happily ever after ending I've ever read and I simultaneously love and hate it.
I did love, though, how Kagome stayed true to her inner self at the end. It was so believable -- purifying her love like that had to have weighed heavily on her for the rest of her life and I think you did a really good job showing that.
Ugh, I'm gonna go find a corner to cry in now. ????
