I'm in awe of how deeply graphic and in depth this whole mating chapter was. I LOVED IT and not to critique others but nothing

more can be said when can actually visualize each scene. I read ALOT and between my 3 picks of daddy Toga, big bro Sesshoumaru,

and even  some foreign/ refined lord I just can get enough of awesome work like this.

I have really enjoyed reading this and I am looking forward to reading more. I hope this story will be continued because I'm dying to read more and see what happens next. I'm curious about Kagome's abilities and want to learn if she has visions of the future since the Owl wasn't exactly clear about whether she had them or not. I'm also curious aboutif her dad is really dead and if he was related to Shippo. 

I noticed that Sessh marked Kagome but wasn't she supposed to mark him also?

Gah, it's been so long since the last time I read this, waaaaaay back in the good ole' Sparky days. This was actually one of the first fanfics I ever read. Still just as awesome. XD I just spent my evening rereading it, and it was time thoroughly well spent. I remember the previous way this chapter played out, and I really like your changes. It never felt right before, when Sesshoumaru went all psycho. This way's better. XD Now I need to go finish the story!

I really like this story but I'm  sorry I got confused I don't know why I thought there was something special or more to the mating/bonding/marking ...I thought if was more than just one night of sex ...I thought it was done some place sacred & was like for  2 days or so & involved more something

I can't wait to see more go on & your killing me that you allow Jaken to treat her like that & speak that way of her...I know she now has very good youkai hearing  but some have even better & I'm pretty sure others in the castle heard it & other things he's said under his breath about her in a negative way,I really hope Sessh heard this last one & takes an action because he has dishonored his Lord (Sessh) & his Mate, the Lady Kagome. I really thought especially when he said 'for a ninjen she cleans up okay' I know she heard it ( I really hope Sessh heard it too)& let it go & that bothers me because as Sessh's mate if she doesn't stand up for herself with the toad, Jaken then others are going to see & hear him doing it & getting away with it & other's will try it too. I hope this time Sessh does something to put him in his place & takes her aside & explains to her that she needs to understand that just how he has to act around others to show no weakness & take no shit, she has to act like The Lady & that means not allowing anyone,especially a lowly toad servant, to talk down to her & start to train herself to act like him in some situations or people will challenge her for her right to be his Mate or if they think she's weak they will use her against him or him against her or go after their pups...she has to learn what is acceptable & why. Jaken needs to be punished till he remembers she is Lady Kagome the Mate of Lord Sessh &  she has to understand that if they are at any type of function or other royal's ,lords or youkai of high standing are around & a servant or guard bad mouthed,verbally or physically harming or disrespecting him,her or their pups,then that individual will be killed before everyone so all know that there is zero tollerance or whatever when it comes to the Western Lands the family of or the people of.    He has been the Lord of the Western Lands for along time & there is peace,has been peace & will remain peace because he made it so..

There was major war before his father died & when his father was killed,there was still some war with the dragons & others .He had to earn his title & for that he had to gain peace for his lands &  his people.He fought, he finished & he won all the wars his father was involved in. He did it to earn the respect for himself, his lands & his people. He didn't have any other family & he had to fight for himself,his lands & his people . Now that he has a family & a Mate, A Lady of the Western Lands & hopefully soon pups & more family & they have to work together to show their strength.

She still needs training in her powers & abilities also...he needs to show her that yes, she & the pups will always have guards & such but god forbid someone sneaks in like a spy or an assassin & tries to harm her or their pups or their pups they will have soon she may need to protect herself & the pups if he's fighting. If she doesn't know how to do anything but shoot an arrow & she has the pups & is carrying a pup or pups  that is why she needs training on her new abilities & Shippo too. She & Shippo have to learn how to use their foxfire,fox majic & illusion & she has to learn how to use her poison & she has healing saliva. & they still have to look up her family to find out more about who she is,who her father was too.

I liked it but I'm confused about why she didn't have to mark him I thought it was supposed to be important her way of binding them to each other no ?? when he bit her he had inject her with some of his youkai & his poison & he also takes in some of her blood by taking in her blood he takes in a bit of her youkai & reiki & poison if necessary so that he's immune to her reiki & she can never accidentally injure him with her Miko powers & he would take in a bit of her poison if he needed to worry about it evey harming him accidentally  & she has to bit him taking in his blood & youai & poison so he can't accidentally harm her either & this way by the next day or so she takes on the mark of his house on her forehead & in the area of the bite it turns from a bite mark into a pattern created by his & her youkai & her bite mark on him would become a pattern that would also be created by the mixing of their youkai. I thought that the reason for this & the reason for biting each other during sex or other times for other meanings to calm or to exicte & taking in each others blood occasionally all help when it comes to her carrrying their pups & the pups inheriting & not being harmed by any opposing factors in their body chemistry..like since they both make poison the poison will they produce will very strong since it would be a combination of the poisons of both parents becuase of the special type of hybrid she is the pups will be full blooded Inu Tai youkai but they will be either immune to her miko powers or will have the ability to use them also.

am I wrong about them marking each other & building immunities to help the pups & keep from harming each other on accident?? the mating is a life bond right??
