That was perfect!
That was so beautiful!!! Great job!!! I really can't find anything else to add but.....SEQUEL?
every time i read the giving tree i get goosebumps. good job with the story
The story of The Giving Tree always makes me so sad for the tree but your story was very sweet. =) My only suggestion is giving readers a translation for the Japanese words. That way what you wanted to say isn't lost on a reader who doesn't know a lick of Japanese or isn't familar with that word.
Have a great week!

that was the sweetest story ever.....
This story is beautiful! You took a tv show, and turned it into a fairytale story I would read to my children. I'd never heard to story of the giving tree, but it is sad and you gave it a beautiful ending. It made me cry to think of the devotion of that poor tree, especially when he was cutting her up and using her to build stuff :( Thank you for writing this story.
Well done. I love how you incorporated the book "The Giving Tree" within your story. So beautiful.
I really love what you did with this poem. Roald Dahl is one of my favourite poets/writers and I think the way you incorporated it into the Sesskag world really did it justice. It was just as emotional as the poem :)
That was so moving! Not the story to read at work, however. Big tears running down my face, mascara all over the place...
