I like this chapter but confused how did they get the collar off Kagome? What happen to the females that hurt Kagome, and will Kagome ever be able to walk? Yes, I am ready for the romance of SEsshoumaru and Kagome to begin. I would love to see the females brought before Sesshoumaru and see justice done. I love this story and cannot wait to read the next chapter. I hope you post it soon.

Not quite as much guilt as I was hoping for, but Kagome is a forgiving person. Sesshoumaru still has a lot to make up for. Looking forward to seeing the demonesses get their's. I think it should be a joint effort between Sesshoumaru and Shippo. Shippo telling the witch that he would never mate someone who would hurt his mother, and Sesshoumaru exacting some major pain for daring to hurt a pack member of the Lord of the West. Oh and of course tortuting her painfully until she tells them how to remove the collar. Overall, a very good chapter. Can't wait for the retribution chapter.
yanno... I'm kinda hoping something horrible on the female that did this to kaogme, BUT i'm kinda hoping that her healing is internalized and make it so she can walk :3

Can we say major dose of guilt coming? She wouldn't have been hurt if he had not kicked her out with no one to protect her. I can already see Shippo's reaction when he gets back. Both to the consequences of Sesshoumaru's abandonment and the demonesses. Somehow I don't think he will be thrilled that they thought to get his attention by attacking his mother.
Nice twist to the story. It was a great way to make Sesshoumaru come to his senses. He hates failure. And here we have an epic fail in his vow to protect her. And he can't hide his failure because everyone knows about it. I don't know which I am looking forward to more. Sesshoumaru's efforts at atonement or the demonesses getting what's coming to them. I know both will be good.
Yep, they are definitely suffering. Maybe a little more so that at least Kagome and Sesshoumaru figure out that they really do need each other.
