I love this, it's so very rich and yet so very short! Good work, good writing.
This was really beautiful and sweet. I just hope that when they become mates, her life is extended to his. It's not fair that he has her only for such a short time. It would be like punishing him for loving a human. Plus she would not get to fully raise any pups they would have. Why would a writer want to leave such a sad note to the ending of a story?
