I've cleaned out the completed section (of this rating at least...) D: and it really irks me when stories don't say "Tragedy" when they really are! ...which reminds me that this one is. D: Hocrap I hope that doesn't mean anything terrible for SK. That would megasuck. Especially since that's the reason I won't read several of the completed stories.
I just found this story today & started reading it. I think I like it but I'm unsure of what is going on. I didn't know she couldn't get thru the well for 3 years. I would also like to know what led to Sessh getting involved with Kagome & asking her to bear him an heir. Is Takeshi a full blooded inu youkai or is he a full blooded inu youkai with miko powers,making him a full blooded Miko-Inu Youkai? do they know what his powers are like at this age & if he is a full blooded youkai...Miko Inu Youkai ,would that make him even more powerful because he would grow to have both the full powers of his father the most powerful Inu dai youkai & his mothers most powerful Miko abilities, if he could use both powers & be immune to holy powers he would be unstoppable. If he was so very powerful & had extremely powerful abilities that he had yet grown into would they no feel the miko & youkai abilities in him & isn't that something Sessh would be extremely proud of??? I mean why did he ask Kagome to give him an heir & after asking for a child from her to allow anyone to speak negatively about her in front of him or his son would be dishonorable to all 3 of them. I also notice that Sessh didn't ever discuss anything with his son about his mother & I wonder if Sessh thinks of her as his lover then why did he not mention her or what she was like . Unless Sessh himself was hurt & angry that she disappeared after the birth when she said she would return to see him & their son & after days turned to weeks, turned to months, then yrs he felt she had abandoned them both & was never returning so after hearing she had returned suddenly after 3 years after having their son & wanting to see them he was going thru his own confused feelings? but I would think that if he knew about the well & that Inuyasha could go thru it he would have gone looking for his brothers to see if he had heard from her or if Inuyasha had gone thru the well, if Inuyasha had tried going thru it in front of him & nothing happened I'm sure he would have felt if there was magic working still in the well. He had to know how she felt about having a child & wanting to be a part of it's life & be involved with her child .He should have told his son once his son was able to understand that she was from a place with a magical portal & that for what ever reason there was no magice flowing thru the portal & knowing how she was & she felt about being a mother, he should have at least told his son that for her not to come it meant she was unable but that she would never choose willingly to abandon her child & that Takeshi should know that his mother loved him very much. I am also confused as to why Sessh would refer to the mother of his heir in a negaive way or allow others to talk about her in a negative way,shouldn't he be saying she was no mere human woman but the Shikon Miko who was the most powerful Miko ever & she birthed him his obviously powerful son ,who looked exactly like him ,(& seems to be) full blooded youkai .
I'm also confused as to why after giving birth to the child when she fell asleep out of exhaustion, did Sessh take the child away from her immediately,never telling her their childs name or letting her see her child again after she gave birth while she healed??? I also can't see Kagome agreeing to this or after giving birth to him leaving without seeing her son,feeling her son ,being with her son & knowing his name. It's not as if she would have been able to give birth,take a nap,wake up & leave.She would wake up after the birth consumed with the need to hold & see her child. I would also imagine her getting extremely violent if not allowed.
What exactly was the agreement they made at the time she had the child & why would she agree to have it before finishing her education?? What was Sessh's request to her about the child exactly & why & when did it happen ?? Did they get physically involved at some point or did Sessh want her & came up with this request thinking she would not get pregnant for months or years so he would be able to have a decent amount of time to sexually satiate himself with her but instead she got pregnant right away ?? did he really just want a child from her ??? I'm so confused.
Now that she is back (so far, in the story, whenever Sessh thought about Kagome he referred to her in his head several times as his lover) what are Sessh's intentions with her??? Does Sessh want her there to stay with him ? is he more concerned that she stay away from both him & her son with only a limited association??? Now that she is finished with her education does he want to get to know her better to possibly court her or is he still viscously hating all humans & disgusted with the fact that he had sex with her to have his son? Is she allowed to stay or is she only allowed short visits to see her child???
I also realize that with the sword now not allowing Inuyasha to touch it he has a limited amount of time before he looses himself to his demon blood & becomes a bloodthirsty monster who doesn't have the ability to even think for himself . He'll become a danger to everyone around him & without the ability to stop himself or restrain himself ,he'll have to be killed.
I love it. this story does sound like a continuation of another that i read, and it fits so well...

Wow this is a very intresting story, I love it, it is so not OUt of character, in fact I am so sure that this is what could happen, in may ways then one!!! I can't wait to read more and to kow why.... Kagome left and why Sesshomaru wanted Kagome to bear his child anyways you would think that he would not want a human woman to bear his child and a miko for that matter, great chapter so far, it is funny to me that "how could his son irritate him so", when I read that I thought, the reason why he irritates you Sesshomaru is because he acts just like you LOL love it.

btw, get ur story straight, sess met rin not when he lost his arm but after he was almost kill by inu releasing the wind-scar while sess tried to 'kill' the tetsusaiga. also, rin didnt really nurse him to health, she only tried to feed him but he ignored her attemps.

I LOVE this! But you should probably go back and change "whipping" to wiping, and "aggressing" to addressing. I'm usually not all that hung up on spelling, but the image of some youkai woman whipping Kagome's brow was just so funny it detracted from the story, and kind of the same thing with aggressing. Sesshomaru is really aggressive, but I'd rather not think he would be that way with his newborn son... But anyway, I really enjoyed the first chapter, it was awesome!
Its really good so far. I was wondering tho if you were ever going to elaborate as to why Sesshoumaru askes Kagome to bear him a child?
