Sesshomaru nis so evil, it's hot!
I want my very own pervert-o-meter!
So confused...
Butit's enjoyableI
How the hell am I supposed to be critical of this? I feel like I'm experiencing word surgery, if that even makes sense. Like you're stitching each syllable with a microscopic needle. But it's not just concise, it's life-saving, miracle-making. Each phrase blossoms on the screen in colors so vivid I need sunglasses. I'm seriously, deliriously in love with your style.
Akiyo is what I'd like to call badass. Only a brief appearance in one chapter and her depth is defined and instantly likable. I really look forward to more of her.
But the way you wrote his father... I hear the lyrics "Oh-ho, Dreeeeeeamweaver!" floating around somewhere in the back of my head... is bone-deep perfection. I'm a fan of any creative portrayal of Inu-papa, since he's such a mysterious character, but your version is both heartbreaking and inspiring. I sensed a subtle double-meaning hidden in his proverb the first time Sesshoumaru heard it, and I assume he recognized that in the modern era – that Touga's definition of power is not the same as his youthful idea of supreme conquest. Power takes many forms, and that's what he wanted Sesshoumaru to recognize. That sentiment is beauty personified.
And I have to ask, are you British? I see a lot of UK spellings of words, and I smile each time because it's rare little treat I'm not used to. Just curious. Brilliant, brilliant work!
You know, I just LOVED your fanfic!
I hope to read more chapters soon
You're doing an awesome work :)
I wonder if Kagome has noticed that her painting is missing? And does Sess already know who "her" is? I wonder when that little message will take effect? Keep up the good work and update soon :P
This is really good so far. I hope you will update soon! :)
I'm really curious about what Shu wrote on the back of the painting... and does this mean that the past Sesshoumaru will keep the painting that his future self will eventually paint himself? I hope you update soon so lots of my questions can be possibly answered. :P
great story so far. nice way of working both the modern and old together.
Eeeheehee! The last line set me giggling, especially with all the tense energy I accumulated while reading the rest of the chapter. Wonderfully written, crisp, full of life, and perfect characterizations. I highly enjoy this piece. :D
Lovely chapter. I'll be walking on air for the rest of the day, daydreaming about the impending meeting between a guileless Kagome and unsuspecting Sesshoumaru. I can't wait to find out what "Shu" etched behind the canvas!
I only started reading this today, and I must say I'm glad I did. You write... well, like a painter would, I guess. You bring the images one by one, in a relaxed pace I really enjoy.
No confusion here, I guess the Inuyasha fandom makes us, lowly reader, used to the wanderings of the time travelling paradoxes.
I look forward to your next chapter.
Dewa mata
Now I'm really curious about what the message was on the back of the painting? Will that be revealed soon? And how did Kagome change him for the better? Keep up the good work and update soon :P
