*squees!!!* No more brutal torture for Kagome! Yes! A good chapter, found much relief in it for both Sesshoumaru and Kagome. I was a bit disappointed that Sess was not the one to gut Kumano...after all that he did to Kagome, he deserved to be tortured in much the same way.

I really enjoy this sort of introspective chapter-I like to read about a character's feelings and compare their POV with what the reader objectively sees and the subjective views of other characters. It's the kind of chapter I long for when characters go from misunderstanding to misunderstanding :) I'm also intrigued by the anonymous letter Sesshoumaru received. His sudden arrival in the chapter before seemed very abrupt (maybe this was just me?) so perhaps this letter will shed some light on how he found her. I hope Kagome wakes soon and can begin to take a more active role in the use of her priestess powers. Thanks so much for all the quick updates!

I have to admit I love the emotional battle that Sesshoumaru is going through and still you've managed to keep him perfectly in character the entire time. I really appreciate how he's waging war within himself about Kagome's hidden identity but at the same time questioning himself!

As always amazingly written, it made my heart want to break open and cry! It was so awesome waking up this morning to a new and beautiful chapter of Wisteria!

Sess actually shed tears? That was truly touching. But I think he has to face himself a little bit more before she wakes up. and what will her response be when she wakes? Will she try to get away or stay trapped in her nightmare?

Beautiful!  Now that Sesshomaru admits the error of his ways, they can move on... when she wakes up.  I know tha Kagome does not have it in her heart to blame him.  But things are going to be tough for her, being all broken and injured.... and who wrote the myserious letter, hmmm?

Okay I haven't read the chapter yet, but I have to say I agree this your statement here:

Only thing I think there would be to smell would be fairly recent sex/semen.
