What a sweet one shot! The slow burn was fantastic! I always love to read stories where they take their time to get to know each other. And a bit of awkwardness is a must have in those.
I loved how you used my prompts in this story, and have to say that my favourite part was where he put too much strength against the tree and trapped Kagome between himself and the tree while protecting her from the snow!!! The feels were so intense! And the playfulness was a nice touch at the end.
It was interesting to read how they relationship kept growing throughout the date. Well done!
Also did you know that I love InuPapa? You described him just the way I like him. A humorous old dog with a big heart. His surprised face was priceless, rhough the best part was when he took out money and gave it to him, to treat his girl out. LOL
