Kagome grit her teeth. Was origami so very hard? She smiled at Rin one last time before sighing.
“Kagome, petal fold! Petal fold! Your gonna rip-!” Rin scolded. It was true, Kagome had ripped the paper. She had tried to fold the paper, but the corner got snagged, leaving a horrid gash in the center.
“Ah! How is it that origami flowers are so very hard!?” Kagome cried, flinging the piece of paper across the clearing.
“Kagome, it isn't that hard you know. Sesshomaru-sama can do it. He could probablly teach you!” Rin stated.
Kagome dared a glance over to the demon lord. She grumbled to herself about him even folding paper perfect. A warm arm came around her, holding a piece of paper in it's grasp. She gasped and leaned back in his impromptu embrace.
“Miko, it is much easier if you fold the crease of the paper before you make the petal fold.” Sesshomaru said, his fingers moving to show her. After a moment, he held a lily in his fingers, presenting it to her. She grasped the brilliant pink and red paper flower in her hands.
“Wow. Nice petals.”
